I think you have the main riff in the song wrong though. Same notes but wrong position.. makes a little bit of a difference.

The main riff is played on the D and G string at the 4-7th frets using the A as the base note.. all palm muted I believe. I saw him play it that way live.

yeah on his headstock (jones) instead of the split diamond inlay, he has a solid inlay that looks like a mirror and he claims to have not done that to his guitars.

This guitar has one so i guessed it to be an epiphone lp and not a silverburst. So yeah you don't know what you're talking about so just stfu

The finish on the Epiphone contours to the shape of the coutar and takes up the full face of the guitar, while the finish on a real Gibson has a "tear drop" shaped window of silver which takes up the bottem portion but leaves a lot of the top black. See how all the burst flows into the neck pickup and then stops? The neck pup would just be surrounded by gray as well as the toggle switch. A quick trip to google images would clear up this whole argument

on all his videos he uses a "more similar" effect with his guitar than most people do which is why i always go to his videos when it comes to tool because in some of his newer videos he explains how he has the right version =)
