I totally agree! For a long time I've sat and watched and watched John Morrison get better and better, but he needs that extra push from someone like Shawn But also, when I watch Morrison, being the huge HBK fan that I am, I see Shawn inside Morrison, they are so alike and would be so compadable in the ring. It's my dream match, and I just hope I get to see it before Shawn departs form wwe. Morrison is just about the only reason I watch Smackdown he is very entertaining and could go all the way!

Right now this is the match. Sure Hardy vs Hardy and Orton vs HHH will be interesting and great but they won't make WM25. WWE needs Michaels/Taker.

While I like the idea of Morrison vs HBK I rather save it for a later date and see HBK win the strap at WrestleMania or have him face Taker but if that doesnt happen Morrison vs HBK certainly wouldnt disappoint
great idea. from the beginning i always thought morrison remined me of hbk back then and if you look through shawn michaels and morrisons carrer paths, such as the tag team and the ic title, its very and eerily similar. also john morrisons gimmick and the way he wrestles reminds me of a early hbk. he also uses the superkick finisher. it sounds like a great match!

Since the streak has to remain intact there is no point having him squash a newbie. WWE pits Undertaker against guys you have a slight thought might be able to pull of beating him. HBK could end the streak and carry it well enough. But someone like MVP could not.
Trouble is Undertaker has already faced HHH and Big Show at Mania, and Kane twice. Jericho & HBK are the two top guys left he has not faced at Mania.
Mr Kennedy or MVP could be ready for Mania 26, they already have the abilities and have feuds with top guys.

I dont want to see Shawn vs Taker seen that a lot of times already so it wouldnt mean anything to me. I think the WWE should break up Morrison and Mizz cause Morrison can be the future huge heel in the company. The WWE is like the Yankees and TNA are the TampaBay Rays. Have heard this argument before, but I disagree. Very rarely can you have epic matches on the scale of an Taker/HBK clash IN TEXAS. THAT is what Wrestlemania should be about, dream matches. You have 11 other months in the year to make your new stars-- for Wrestlemania, the "superbowl of wrestling", you need to have the best card possible, and if you can make some new stars in the process, great.
TBH, I think HBK/Morrison might be good at WM26. But u just cant pass up HBK/Taker in Texas.

We all want the WWE to produce new stars but the only way for them to do it is quite sad. Remember that period in the WWE not too long ago where all of the main eventers were injured? I mean all of them. Pretty much all the top guys on raw were gone and WWE had to bring some other people to the front. Sadly, those same people got pushed back down to the midcard as soon as some of the main guys got better.

Damn dude, i was thinking the same thing for months now, i think John Morrison should face HBK at the Royal rumble for the Number 1 spot, Morrison beats Shawn then goes on to win the Rumble and face Edge at Wrestlemania for the title. Meanwhile, Some of the heels talk about how Shawn lost his touch and is starting to get out of shape mentally. So Shawn tries to prove every one wrong by challenging the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to show that he can still hang with the big boys.
Oh and by the way, yes HBK and Undertaker has nothing to gain, but the fans have alot to gain and it's watching the biggest match since Warrior vs Hogan. If you think about it, it's kinda like Rock vs Austin Wrestlemania x7 and xix. Both men had nothing to prove, it was Austin's last match, and next year it could be Taker's last match, so in a way HBK is Taker's Rock.

Morrison vs HBK would be a really good match. They both have similar wreslting styles and they really do work well together. I have seen potential in John Morrison for qhite a while now. A match with HBK at Wrestlemania would definitely put him over, regardless of if he won the match or not.
HBK vs. John Morrison might be good for WM, but in my honest, just not right now. Yes, Morrison has the look, the ability AND potential to be a main eventer. While and the Miz are one of the top teams in WWE (Next to Cryme Tyme), I personally think both of them need one more little rub in them before they split.

You are forgetting the main point. Michaels vs the Undertaker is for the company's and fan's benefit. WM25 needs one massive dream match that says "YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS EVENT!"
Right now this is the match. Sure Hardy vs Hardy and Orton vs HHH will be interesting and great but they won't make WM25. WWE needs Michaels/Taker.
Without Michaels/Taker the WWE to save the card would need Hogan/Austin which won't happen.

great idea. from the beginning i always thought morrison remined me of hbk back then and if you look through shawn michaels and morrisons carrer paths, such as the tag team and the ic title, its very and eerily similar. also john morrisons gimmick and the way he wrestles reminds me of a early hbk. he also uses the superkick finisher. it sounds like a great match!

Or go back to wm 19 and have taker in another handicapped match? Stay away from hell in a cell or last man standing and casket stuff because i want to watch a match where somethings going to be constantly happening not a couple of wrestlers lying on the mat for several 3 minute intervals, which is synonymous with HIAC last ride, casket matches etc.

Yes Michaels v.s. Taker lacks originality but it would be a good match and in my opinion wwe probably would take the easy way out and skip out on the originality.
I see a similarity between Morrison and Edge and i think wwe is gonna (like edge) have Morrison involved in alot of tag team action before pushing him to main event status.

Since the streak has to remain intact there is no point having him squash a newbie. WWE pits Undertaker against guys you have a slight thought might be able to pull of beating him. HBK could end the streak and carry it well enough. But someone like MVP could not.
Trouble is Undertaker has already faced HHH and Big Show at Mania, and Kane twice. Jericho & HBK are the two top guys left he has not faced at Mania.
I'm not sure of a new guy who would be good

Morrison is a great young star, and having him face HBK would be good. I agree WWE needs to put newer guys in the main event (glad to see Smackdown has tried with Kozlov & Jeff).
However, would it serve much purpose if Morrison didn't win the Mania match?
He's already shown in the tag matches against DX and with HBK & Rey that he can match HBK, so doing a huge build up & have him lose would be kinda pointless. That being said HBK might be willing to let him win.

Remember, Orton was put on the shelf for awhile because Triple H threw him out of the ring and broke Orton's collar bone. That feud was never finished! Whoever wins that match would be a Number 1 Contender for the belt on their brand. Other match ideas for Wrestlemania:

I've heard that The Undertaker has also been considering retirement from the business very soon. If the WWE is considering putting Shawn against Taker, maybe there's a Retirement Match Part 2 in the works and the only way The Undertaker will walk away from the business and accept a loss for the first time at Wrestlemania is if another legend such as Shawn Michaels would be the one to put him out of the business. The WWE won't schedule a match at a PPV of Wrestlemania's calibur to promote a younger wrestler's career! People order and go to this event because they WANT to see Legend Vs. Legend! Let's entertain your idea though. What if they were to put these two in a match together, and Morrison wins. I think i see a way for a Morrison vs HBK fued. Shawn seems to be turning into a heel with his fued with JBL. HBK decides he wants to pass the tourch to a new younger talent. He gives the oppurtunity to Miz and Morrison saying whichever one can beat the other will become his protoge. Morrison ultimatly defeats the Miz thus splitting the miz and morrison. I dont want to see Shawn vs Taker seen that a lot of times already so it wouldnt mean anything to me. I think the WWE should break up Morrison and Mizz cause Morrison can be the future huge heel in the company. The WWE is like the Yankees and TNA are the TampaBay Rays. Have heard this argument before, but I disagree. Very rarely can you have epic matches on the scale of an Taker/HBK clash IN TEXAS. THAT is what Wrestlemania should be about, dream matches. You have 11 other months in the year to make your new stars-- for Wrestlemania, the "superbowl of wrestling", you need to have the best card possible, and if you can make some new stars in the process, great.
TBH, I think HBK/Morrison might be good at WM26. But u just cant pass up HBK/Taker in Texas.

if michaels doesnt wrestle undertaker whose taker going to wrestle. in the 90's taker and michaels had matches together, but in most of those matches either dx got involved or kane got involed, it was never settled. then the two royal rumbles when taker eliminated hbk and won and the latest rumble where michaels eliminates taker. also rumors of taker retiring at wrestlemania. this is wrestlemania we need big matches. the WM undefeated streak vs Mr Wrestlemania it has to happen at WM25

Morrison and Michaels styles are very similar but do you really wanna see them two fight at Wrestlemania? I mean Shawn Vs Taker has a better story. Think about it. We just seen HBK beat Flair at Wrestlemania. Someone who know one thought would ever retire. That makes it more difficult for ppl to consider undertaker winning again at mania because Shawn Michaels has been a bit of a Winning Streak also. Maybe he could do the same n defeat Taker's Streak also.

We all want the WWE to produce new stars but the only way for them to do it is quite sad. Remember that period in the WWE not too long ago where all of the main eventers were injured? I mean all of them. Pretty much all the top guys on raw were gone and WWE had to bring some other people to the front. Sadly, those same people got pushed back down to the midcard as soon as some of the main guys got better.

I'm hoping for a John Morrison vs HBK and Undertaker vs Kozlov at wrestlemania. Morrison and Hbk already has some buildup and Undertaker and kozlov could be undefeated streak vs undefeated streak. You can always have a undertaker vs hbk at another ppv unless one of them is retiring but still it's not like that match will help any one of there career. But I think most casual and smart fans would rather see Taker vs HBK and it being in texas makes it even more bigger so if it happens it happens.

cause john Morrison hasn't hit Main Event Status yet so the wwe would be taking a chance with him unlike Undertaker the Main Eventer would sell more tickets than Morrison maybe. Shawn Michaels vs John Morrison at a PPV like Royal Rumble or No Mercy or Something like that now that would give him that extra push for say maybe next years wrestlemania

Damn dude, i was thinking the same thing for months now, i think John Morrison should face HBK at the Royal rumble for the Number 1 spot, Morrison beats Shawn then goes on to win the Rumble and face Edge at Wrestlemania for the title. Meanwhile, Some of the heels talk about how Shawn lost his touch and is starting to get out of shape mentally. So Shawn tries to prove every one wrong by challenging the Undertaker at Wrestlemania to show that he can still hang with the big boys.

Oh and by the way, yes HBK and Undertaker has nothing to gain, but the fans have alot to gain and it's watching the biggest match since Warrior vs Hogan. If you think about it, it's kinda like Rock vs Austin Wrestlemania x7 and xix. Both men had nothing to prove, it was Austin's last match, and next year it could be Taker's last match, so in a way HBK is Taker's Rock.

now i am all for hbk vs morrison but how can u honestly say shawn michaels and undertaker would not gain from fighting eachother either way taker wins, it is his first win over michaels in his whole career in hbk wins he is first to beat taker at mania, again morrison and michaels would be terrific but i would not count out taker and hbk or the smackdown vs raw match

Morrison vs HBK would be a really good match. They both have similar wreslting styles and they really do work well together. I have seen potential in John Morrison for qhite a while now. A match with HBK at Wrestlemania would definitely put him over, regardless of if he won the match or not.

HBK vs. John Morrison might be good for WM, but in my honest, just not right now. Yes, Morrison has the look, the ability AND potential to be a main eventer. While and the Miz are one of the top teams in WWE (Next to Cryme Tyme), I personally think both of them need one more little rub in them before they split.
Just like what J.R. and solemnpears just said, he does have a little resemblance of a young HBK.

I completely agree about John Morrison. He has everything it takes to be become a main eventer and reminds me A LOT of a young HBK.
It would be great to see him face Shawn, although I think it could also be possible for him to win MITB. That, and maybe a good push in Rumble match, could really help push him to the main event.

i think hbk vs john morrison would be good, but morrison hasn't had much experience as a single's competitor as of late, so im not sure he would face someone as big as hbk
i like the idea , but i think that instead of hbk vs morrison, just have john morrison winning the money in the bank at wrestlemania and then he would probably be in the world title picture

Hey Spinnernet I must say that I agree with you and Monoxide about the issue with same people being in the main event. And I now agree Morrison and HBK would be a hell of a match.I must go back to the Cody Rhodes issue I have seen nothing but improvement since he came in to the wwe there is alot of hate for him. lets look at Hardcore Holly and him a story line actually written Eugene to Now.Let me know please just give specifics in another comment and that goes for anyone for reasons of dis-like

hbk vs. taker at wrestlemania in texas could be the biggest attraction ever. i love john morrison's future, but he can still be elevated facing any other top face. he doesnt have to face hbk at wrestlemania. i want my damn hbk-taker dream match lol. i was thinking wwe could make that a loser retires match and spice it up even more as if it needed any more spice. john morrison isn't getting in my way. however, i think ur ryte with the seeds planting.
