I've noticed that The skateboarders are absolute jerks to the casterboarders, but in most cases the Casterboarders are friendly, or don't want conflict. Why are we being harassed for do something we like? I sure as hell know that I enjoy casterboarding more than Skateboarding, but I still appreciate one part of the Ripstik's roots.

Haha woah personally im a skater and I didn't even know ripsticks could do anything like this. I remember it came out a few years ago and i didn't think it would really get anywhere i saw mostly kids riding around cruising a rare vid of a kickflip here and there but i never knew it could do anything even close to this haha. I skate and this is impressive. Idc im equal about all the types of boarding and biking and rollerblading as long as the people are cool

the only thing i dont like about ripsticking is their isnt really a risk factor. most pro skateboarders risk their lives filming for video parts and shit, and with ripsticking you cant really get that badly hurt. just my opinion.

here's what i've found out about skaters and ripstikers. most skaters don't like ripstiks, most ripstikers don't hate skateboards(but like ripstiks more). if you're one of the skaters who doesn't like ripstiks, then watch skateboard videos, leave the ripstik videos for the ripstikers. personally, i love ripstiks, hate skateboards, so i'm considered a ripstiker, and i don't watch skateboard videos. now stop with the arguing people, ripstiks are for ripstikers, skateboards are for skaters.the end.

@kiwijayla well yeah the creator definitely had the thought of skating in it, but also snowboarding and surfing. casterboarding is pretty much a mix of those 3. I'm not saying you're hating, i'm just saying that casterboards aren't plastic skateboards. the reason people say that is cuz it's not as big as skating and other sports, like you said. and it's not really harder than skating, it depends on the person. personally i find casterboarding easier, but that's just me.
