  • That would be the "Jefferson Squat". Tough to do balance wise, but pretty safe since the weight is centered directly under your hips.

  • This is a posing workout. But by the way when u use proper form guys that don't know when u use true proper form ur strength will drop from what u do with bad form most of the time. So stay true to form not true to strength.

  • In the second documentary with Mike Pulcinella we see Kai squatting six plates per side. Its not like he doesnt train hard or heavy, this is just a different workout. More like a glute workout, but he also does "posing" workouts where he just focuses on flexing rather than pushing big weights, maybe this is one of those workouts.

  • this is not a legit kai green leg workout "bevsgym" label the video properly, not sure what the fuck this is but its not kais regular leg workout, you dont get quads like him from a few sets of leg extension and a bunch of hamstring work

  • @roadman1823 because he pays more attention on the form, so with those weights is more than enoughfor him. BTW, he isn't squatting or leg pressing, these are differents ways of training.

My gym does'nt have a glute machine either so I also lie down in front of the ham curl and do glute raises. I get funny looks from lil wanabee bigmen who probably think 'gayboy' but I could'nt give a dying nazis fuck. When I train lower body - I train LOWER BODY hitting every muscle from every angle.

  • a lot of people dont kno that kai is a dancer and an artist. He draws all his routines out on paper before he performs them

  • Not to be racist...but damnit...black people get the best genetics for almost everything. One of my buddies back in high school was black...used to roll into the gym every other day...do 3 sets of bench press with 225 for 10 reps and his chest would rise like a loaf of bread.

  • this is obvi a photoshoot cuz of what hes wearing and how hes all oiled up. but that doesnt mean he just sits on his ass all day. BTW, no shit u cant get like this with steroids, but i can truly gauruntee u that even without steroids hed still be more built than anyone at your local gym. steroids still require the same dedication as no steroids, the effects are just quicker and more drastic

    I think this workout is just before the competition. He empties the glycogen reserves of his muscles with light weightes. Once empty he fills them again (loading) wich makes the muscles bigger for the competion. This emptying and loading is done by almost every bodybuilder before a competion.

  • @565144 I mean that he can visualize the muscle flexing and stretching while performing the movement. He has the ability to call upon and flex all the muscles in his hamstrings and glutes and those muscles alone. Flex your bicep, look at your bicep and imagine all the fibers tensing and contracting. It's so important for a bodybuilder to develope that connection with every muscle.

  • I dont know what its called because I too had never seen it before him. One thing I will say though is it is a great exercise for the glutes, I recomend this for the ladies!

  • That's because he is a true bodybuilder. He doesn't just throw heavy weight around. Kai concentrates on form and technique. He really focuses on digging deep within the muscle and full complete reps.
