What happened candio is completely unfair. There was a situation like that in(i think) 09 where a player took a stack worth 1million chips and pushed it forward against Brandon Cantu. He then pulled it back and the official said that the bet doesn't stand because he didnt release the chips. Candio's chips didnt even touch the dam table,if someone can pull back a million chip bet candio should have been allowed fold.

And Cheong has probably made those kind of plays all the time with his big stack, but they dont just show them on tv. So if Candio knows that Cheong does this like 50% of the time, its a very brave call from him and nothing wrong. You can definetily see that he wants to go all the way, not just climb the ladder.

@miki0407 I disagree, it was a horrible call. If Candio folded he would have still had about 7 million in chips, about 40 big blinds. He would still have been in good shape.

Cheong had shown strength the whole way; not too many players raise pre-flop, bet the flop and then reraise all-in with nothing, even if they are chip leader.

@miki0407 are you serious? Cheong is never going over the top there on 566 board with anything BUT an overpair. Preflop action factored in his range could easily be narrowed to JJ+. I don't mind the bluff c/r by Candio trying to get his opp off hands like AQ+ or even weaker overpairs (77+) but calling off the rest of his stack there was obviously a donk move at that point. And it wasn't like the first time Candio went in FAR behind for his tournament life.. the dude's just super lucky.

Actually gamble is smt like when you have AQ AK or Pair and you go all in before the flop. 50/50 or 60/40, flip the coin. In this situation, especially after the flop, 99% Cheong had an over pair ! Candio was either a fish who could not realize it, or a fool when betting all of his chips with only 10% chance of win !

Matt Affeck played very well through this tournament and I think he deserved a seat on the Final table, not such stupid player like Candio !
