I had knee surgery about a year and a half ago... Crutches for 6 months and brace for 4.... Plus other things.. Couldn't run for about 10 months... I messed mine up reapply bad.. Ripped tendons and bone and other things... Not fun!!

just had my surgery 2 weeks ago. Worst part is I had to stay in recovery for 4 hours to observe my breathing since I have sleep apnea. Waste of time, I wanted to go home. But my doc did a great job

After my surgery, I tried talking and I threw up blood. The blood was from the breathing tube.. I also had to get up to use the bathroom and my knee hurt SO bad.

I wasn't all droopy and out of it like this poor girl was, but when I woke up I was crying because I didn't have a nerve block or anything and it hurt so bad. I wish you the best of luck and that recovery is nice and smoothe!! what kind of operation are you getting??

i had this thing called septic knee and im only 11 they pulled a drain out of my knee that was at least a foot long

I know exactly how she feels, if she had a tube down her through you are most definitely gonna be thirsty. Took me about an hour to even wake up. They won't release you until you are able to move. Doesn't help if your tired before it either. Graham crackers, ugh. I wonder how much of those drinks it took to wake up. Most just wanna go back to sleep.

I was out when they put the thing in my throat. They will put you under first, but when you wake up, you will definitely feel like you have a sore throat. I couldn't eat solids until 3 days later...well took some effort on that third day lol. I would recommend getting, jello, applesauce. Anything not solid to eat. You will feel most likely like the girl in this video. The hardest part is waking up. It feels like sand stuck in your eyes.

And your mouth will be very dry. So they will offer crackers and some soda to replenish your thirst. Good luck swallowing too.

After my knee surgery in 2000, I was lying on the couch and my mom fixed me some toast and eggs, About ten minutes later I felt so sick but i couldn't get up and run to the bathroom and projectiled vomited all over her couch. LOL

i had my acl replaced with a cadever adn my meniscus stiched in march. i got cleared 6 months later to get ready for my last season on college basketball. 4 games in i tore my acl, my lcl, my meniscus, and my capsule. underwent a 3 1.2 surgery. and i got another 7 months of therapy again. sucks
