Those three were the top mmo's out but wow stole all of thier players, wow is the only game to succeed if you did not know this then you truely know nothing about mmorpg's you prob never got far in any of them. There is some kind of program that basically mimics windows simply to allow the playing of video games. I dont know exactly what they are called but you could probably google it if you have a mac and want to play pc games.

@melpa04 So the extent of my knowledge about Microtransactions (sometimes abbreviated MTs) is that they are payments made in a game that somehow correspond to real money. This could mean paying real money for in-game items or content, etc. A lot of games have started just implementing another kind of in-game currency that can only be bought with real money, and allowing certain content to only be purchased with it (that way it doesn't break game flow).
As I said, I am personally against MTs, as you almost always end up paying more for content. Also, as another commenter said, it usually ends up making a society of rich players that are much more powerful/better equipped than they should be. I think videogames, particularly MMOs, should act as a great leveler (no matter your income bracket, you should still enjoy the game as much as the next person... as long as you can cough up $15 or so a month).
