Guild Wars is a success. Fan-boys maybe against it, and it isn't an MMO in the standard sense. Now GW2 will be an entirely different beast and will require new servers and yadda-yadda, but ANet has had YEARS of experience running it this way. The fact that they have to actually make awesome packs because they have to. Unlike WoW which trucks out loads of crap like Cataclysm and people feel like they have to play through it to get their money's worth. It's sad really.

The Rift collectors edition does give some serious advantages to new players, as they get a mount straight away which takes a while to get normally and a larger starting bag, which for the first few levels was very useful. While the edition wasn't that much more expensive, I couldn't get a copy from my local game stores and I felt seriously disadvantaged for the first 20-30+ hours of gameplay.

Here Australia we pay 100% more then the U.S so for a standered edtion of deus ex human revoloution it was 120$ in EB games and in Game it was 110$ the special edtion was like 240$ be thanful you dont live here mate. Hi TB, I enjoyed your answers this video. One thing I think you should mention is that Guild Wars (and GW2 will be as well) is not really free to play. You said you buy the game at full price, so many fans call it a Buy to play model. You're talking about number adjustments with the gold and tower differences. Several LoL champs can summon minions of some kind (Yorick, Morde, Malzahar.....).

the bad wow patches is the reason i quit. (although i generally just play 3 month at a time anyway but thats not the point) i mean they balance league of legends all the time but that has about 50 champs to play from. wow has like 8 classes and over 7 years they still make drastic changes in the classes. TB (ME3) - they will have 4 person coop. You can help each others out in special missions much like the old "anomaly has been detected", which had no real rp-value for the sake of character developing anyway. They complement the campaign with the coop, but you can still do that stuff on your own.

BioWare got lucky with KoToR and got the idea they could make good RPG's, but they can't. All BioWare RPG's are bland, stodgy and impenetrable. Adding multi-player to ME3 is just a sign that they are running out of ideas for the single-player. Hopefully they will create a new intellectual property and stop making poor RPGs.

That's a ridiculous calculation. I, for an example, play other games than WoW even though I own WoW. I buy time when I want and usually only for 2 months or so. (Now that I think of it, that's probably why I suck at WoW.).
