  • how far was that?

  • geile scheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiißßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßßeeeeeee!!!!!!

  • it looks like cauliflower ;D

  • why dropping such a bomb? were they shot at my a pistol?

  • Incredible slow motion.... meaning 5 fps?

  • Cool.

    But......

    will it kill Zombies?

  • The sand gives an amazing effect to the explosion... maybe one of the best detonation mushrooms from conventinal explosive!

  • Chuck Norris farted

  • and now let it rain shrapnel

  • Chuck Norris farted

  • wtf, thats white phosphorus right? wow id be running if i saw that, doesnt matter if its controlled!

  • @RazorX53 and that's why you're not an EOD tech. lol WP is comletely safe if disposed of correctly.

  • obviously fake

  • @creativeinventor how is it fake

  • watch?v=ZAev4LKhs-o

    realy good video!

  • Don't you guys think the chuck norris farting jokes are kind of old? There are at least 3 in the last two pages of comments.

  • chuck norris ate beans....

  • Chuck norris farted.

  • it costs 400.000 $ to fire the c4 for 12 secs

  • not slow enough

  • the echo tooks a long time

  • That's a waste of good explosives that presumably were paid for by hard up tax payers. Surely they could have had a practical use in a quarry. In Devon and Cornish waters WW2 bombs and mines are sometimes trawled up by fishing boats. Standard procedure is to move the object onto submerged rocks which are a nuisance and detonate it. Easiest thing in the world to spend other peoples money.

  • @techdavey1000 Old explosives are unstable, unpredictable and cannot be transported. Safer to destroy them where they are found.

  • @techdavey1000 Read up on EOD. Part of there job is to dispose of out of date and/or unserviceable munitions.

  • Chuck norris farted

  • KA-BOOOOM!

  • This explosion is about 4100 m or 4.1 km away

  • tonne is spelt

    TON

  • @Hyabusafilms That would depend if you were talking about a metric tonne (1000kg) or an imperial ton (907kg). Get your facts straight before making smart ass comments spastic.

  • @scotofarabia ima make another smart ass comment,

who gives a fuck, no dont answer that because oblvously you do so go fuck your self and if you are older then me then go worry about ur own life instead of some comments nigga

  • Wooojoooooow Hoezo Dikke Ontploffing :|!

  • WARNING:DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME WITHOUT HELP FROM AN ADULt

  • this is not high-speed camera

  • im doing same when im eating beans

  • get to cover fast

  • holy sheit

  • F@#K ..nasty towelheads there...

  • i agree with carpet bombing...and banging the virgin goats

  • Yeah and I read the Koran... You know the whole thing about "know your enemy"... I never found anything about, paradise, and 72 virgins... found out that you guys have purgatory just like Christianity for suicide... so Im under the impression that its all B.S. about it, and that there using those people... So I have know sympathy for them at all... So if your muslim, tell me what page to go to and I will look it up, because I couldnt find it...

  • Sorta like how Chrstianity does the EXACT same thing?

  • You know how sniper teams do "baiting" put out a device or weapon and when some idiot trys to pick it up they grease his sorry camel lovin ass... EOD needs to do that... leave a 155mm shell out or some C4... and when Ahab the Arab comes along to aquire his new toy... BLAM!... Keep up the good work guys! send them to their 72 goats...

  • hhahahahahahhaha

  • Comment removed

  • Im muslim and enlisting into the marine corps. Dont be racist like this. Take it easy.

  • Not being racist genius... If I was I wouldve said lets just carpet bomb the country and get rid of all the smelly muslims that live there... what I was implying was if there going to pick up the bomb material than that makes them a enemy combatant, and there for should be eliminated... Have a nice day...

  • im talking about the 72 goats.

  • Unless of course it happens to be somebody picking up the bomb material who may, oh I dunno, not want a child to accidentally touch it? But that's silly right? No innocent muslims have ever died during this incredibly important and non-profitable war.

  • "Camel loving ass", "Ahab the Arab", "72 goats"... you're a real piece of work buddy! Do you also hate jews, gooks, commies, and niggers? Where do you hang your confederate flag? Oh wait sorry, no more confederate flags, I hear you people just like to hang the good ol' American flags now.

  • WTF WAS THAT????

  • notice theres a explosion but no sound but later BOOM!

  • Thats because the sound travel slowly

The further away the explosion is, the longer it will take for the sound to reach you

  • we need to put these into missiles and fire them into North korea.

kim's nukes aint this powerful. jesus christ

  • @4everUSNavy they are. The smallest one they had were of 0.6 kiloton yield

Which is about 6 times this explosion's force.

  • For good slow-motion you need a high speed camera.

This is just done with some software :)

    Nice explosion tough

  • Wahnsinn!

  • Please shove one of those for me - up a terrorist's ass!

    P.B.

  • lol

  • They do .. they are... they will...

  • Oh very boom indeed

  • That is what we call fallout .hynmay

  • Wow White phosphorus packs a punch!!!

  • white phosphorus doesnt explode, it burns....they used several thousand pounds of C4 to make this explosion.

  • awesome!!

  • somebody take the cam away from the twit

  • thats my fart gos like booooom

  • Whow impressive, somebody know what explosive used on this video ?

  • Just signed my EOD contract.. ship in october..now im pumped

  • i wana buy some where can i get it lol

  • wow 12 seconds for the sound delay

  • =D that is the shit

  • 100 tons of EPIC win

  • Too bad there was no cool shockwave cloud :)

  • it reminds me of my fart before i take a huge shit

  • FALCON....PUNCHHHH XD

  • white phosphorous is some bad ass shit!!! mix it with some HE and you have a "shake and bake"!! love it...

  • wots an eod?

  • Explosive Ordnance Disposal

  • the white ribbons are WP (white phosphorous)

  • at the end of the film what causes the white ribbons of smoke that appear all around the explosion. have seen them on atomic tests also

  • White phosphorus, but these are different from what you see in atomic explosions. In those tests they fire off streamers, which are used to help measure the shock wave of the blast. If you look closely on a video of one, you can see it shift as the shock wave hits.

  • That's just smoke trails from the burning stuff that's been blasted into the sky.

Those smoke trails that you see on atomic bomb tests are put there before the bomb goes off so they will be able to see how the blast travels through the air by looking at how the blest effects the smoke trails.

  • If it took 12 seconds for the sound to reach the camera and sound travels about 700mph then how far is the explosion away. Lets see, 700miles in 1 hour so 700 divide by 60 equals 11.7 m.p.min divided by 60 again equals 0.195 (0.2) miles per second,,,multipy by 12 seconds and we get 0.2 times times 12 eaquals 2.4 miles. It didn't look like it was 2.4 miles away. I'm not very good at maths though so work it out for yourself. Imagine being just half a mile away,,now that would be dangerous.

  • or you could use 3.5 meters per second. count how many seconds from the flash to bang.

  • I think it's more like ~340 m/s which would make the camera around 3.5km away :)

  • @Rob187ok I should think that the sound synchronization would be a bit of.

  • @Rob187ok 2.3 repeating

  • @Rob187ok Holy crap. Math is difficult in US. Wonder why you guys are so good at it? The speed of sound is 340m / s. 12 x 340 is just over 4000m = 2.5 miles.

  • @Rob187ok Major problem in equation - shock wave travel (much) faster than ordinary sound waves. So the distance is greater and explosion itself is accordingly more powerfull.

  • @Armuotas ,,, and I thought I'd got it all worked out. I never took the shock wave speed into account.

  • @Rob187ok ,,, and that would mess up my maths. Oh well,,, back to school.

  • @Armuotas ,,, Point taken.

  • @Rob187ok I can do that in meters. 347 meters per second multiply by 12 = 4164 km

  • @Rob187ok You're probably right, it looks like 2.4mi

  • @Rob187ok Thanks for that! Just in case you were wondering the velocity of RDX (the main component of c4) is 19,573 MPH.

  • @Rob187ok ,,, That's fast,,, and it messes with my math. I'll have to work out how to work out how the speed of the shock wave influences how fast the sound wave takes to travel. That's not easy since the shock wave will slow down in a way that sound waves don't as it expands. The shock wave must speed up the time it takes for the sound to reach the camera though. Maybe I'll leave it to the experts.

  • Does anyone know what that mechanical clicking sound is just when the explosion happens, and then after the sound wave hits?

  • Sounds like rfi from a blackberry. If i place my blackberry near my monitor i hear the same thing.

  • just a guess but possibly they are doing measurements and tests machines are recording data seems the most likely situation

  • looks like 3 nukes in 1 :D

  • Wait so how was this bomb made exactly?

  • This was made using around 200,000 pounds of unused / confiscated ordinance - explosives, ammunition, grenades, stuff like that..

  • isnt any of it usable? looks like it still works

  • It's probably good stuff ,,,if you trust your life to old battered granade launchers that is. I've seen some of that stuff blow up in the faces of those who use it.

  • 13 seconds after the explosion, you an hear it.

  • is this the way the Americans kill fire ants

i think its overkill butt i can be wrong.

    coolstuff huh huh.

  • um no dude this is the way americans kill IED's and other dangerous explosive rounds they also do shit like this to terrorists

  • there may have been ants in there :/

  • People like you? Need to know when a joke is a joke...

  • The ol' white phosphorous! good stuff

  • nukes make this explosion look like a firecracker one reason is that the initial blast is over 4000 degrees c and the shock-wave is powerful enough to turn bones into fibers

  • Just 4000 degrees? Make that 300 million degrees, then I'm impressed.

  • the hiroshima bomb melted and scorched things that had a melting point of 4000 degrees celcius (7000 something f) and that was 300m under the blast the actual core of the fireball is around 500,000-3,000,000 degrees

  • holy fucking jumping flying swimming shit!

  • HOLY FUCK O MG HOLY SHIT

  • holy-terrorist:> faut vraiment que montreal fait cette effet làa

  • i calculated it by the speed of the sound from the time of the blast to when it was heard; the blast was approx. 2.11 miles away. pretty fricken sweet.

  • If that were to hit you, I bet it'd kill you. I heard a nuke will definitely kill you, I don't know though. I was never in the army.

  • Probly wont. They sound like a pretty pussy bomb to me

  • This bomb will kill you, and even if you were never in the army you should still know that a nuke will obliterate you.

  • Shit! Lots of 'white phos' in that cache!

  • holy cow, took like 5 seconds for the sound to hit you..:P

how far away were yous exactly?

  • well, if the speed of sound is around 340 meters per second, if we multiply that by five, then he was around 1700 meters away, which converts to about 1 mile

  • the sound came after around 10 seconds...

    340 * 10 = 3400meters

  • It took about 10 seconds...

The speed of sound is about 333 m/s

    10 times 333 m/s = 3.33 Km

  • WHAT WAS IT? BEFORE IT WAS LEVELED?

  • A huge weapons cache.

  • Segregator, I did not see a pile of 100 Tons of explosives. Was this a nuclear blast?

  • Not this one.

  • of course not, nuclear explosions are 20 times bigger at least

  • Not to mention, if it were a nuclear blast, and these guys were only 1 mile away, they'd be disintegrated in seconds.

  • po opóźnieniu fali dźwiękowej można wnioskować że wybuch miał miejsce ok. 8km od kamery

  • the smoke looks like white phosphorus

  • It probably is. Weapons contain phosphorous.

  • What exactly did you guys detonate? What are the white smoke lines in the air? Pretty impressive..

  • Shockwaves.

  • yes it is caused by combination of fragments and shock waves, the shock in the air causes rapid condensation of pressented water )white lines)

  • Exactly.

  • The white smoke trails are caused by White Phosphorus, not shockwaves. You can even see pieces falling back to earth.

  • true!

  • you should of taped the sonic boom coming

  • It's not called a sonic boom.

  • my bad hehe

when that thing from the explosion

its crazy to see how fast it comes

  • Yeah. It's called the blast wave.

  • Such pretty fireworks! nice one Kingo

  • LOL thanks!

  • and you seriously are a rocket scientist and have your own company?

  • You really think I have the legal right to start my own space and aeronautics organization when I'm 13 years old? Hmm...that should be my dream.

  • Well you never know, its not impossible but extremely improbable. We have some thing in common though, im 13 and love explosions too!!

  • Haha! Let's be friends.

  • Fucking awesome!!

And you are 13 years old and know all about that things of bombs? you are the man

  • Yeah. I am 13 years old and I love bombs.

  • I'm 14 and i love bombs :P

  • Sounds like we got something in common, eh?

  • are you serioulsy 13, cause thats awesome if you know all that stuff about bombs and your 13

  • Yes. I am 13. Not lying.

  • Well listen to this im 13!

  • Wow...we are all lucky 13! Wait - tomorrow is the 13th!

  • nice 1 10/10 from me

  • Thanks

  • took ages for the sound wave to come lol

  • I know! I waited for soo long. The explosions were pretty far away.

  • Yikes!

  • Oh no!

  • WOWZERS LOL :P
