  • I like how he just chats by and large. Lee always gives his interviews a great breadth of potential; he doesn't get pigeoned in, even when he's confronted with not-so-brilliant questions.

  • I love him so much, like a Byronic Hero in his parts. His Hammer Horror films makes my life. I love him beyond words!!!

  • he stabbed a nazi... incredible

  • This man define word legend. Does not matter is he Dracula.Scaramanga or count Dooku....he always did classic performance. He is older than mine grandfather and still he keep making classic films.

  • @Hordak84 saramon???

  • there's something about his voice that's just amazin

  • iv'e never actually seen the wicker man or the original dracula for that matter, but i think im defo gonna check them out. I love christopher lee just for what i saw in his performance in lotr

  • Lee's voice is a bit frightening lol

  • @Kadrilicious Well, he is the horror King. ;)

  • Devils rides out is my favourite Christopher Lee film

  • OMG he is looking rough in 2009, what is he going to look like in 2012 in the hobbit? the greatest actor of our time, he deserves the highest accolades possible

  • I would love to just sit and talk with Sir Christopher. He seems to be a very nice man.

  • @Veggieman87 Not many men left like Sir Christopher who have manners.

  • How could you end an interview with Christopher Lee?! I couldn't do that!

  • Christopher Lee, a true legend!

  • what a lickspittle of a host

  • he is a legend still!

  • Happy 89th birthday, Sir Christopher!!

  • "the last giant was robert mitchum" talk is crap --- times they are a changing and persona cult is for the gullible

  • @MoveOverCasanova The man was asked for his opinion. He gave it.

  • ITS SAURUMAN

  • Alan.. Stop interrupting the man, for God sake!

  • Sir Christopher you forgot to mention one giant; YOU!!! All respect to you sir!!!

  • so sad to see christopher lee lookking so old..emotional speech had me crying! a legend!

  • I wanna see Gandalf and Saruman on the screen together.. just one last time

  • great......GREETINGS FROM ITALY

  • It would be awesome to hang out with Christopher Lee for a day.

  • i want him to be my grandfather!!!

(im 15 so its not wierd)

  • I cant believe what Lee said about Cage! Cage made a remake of the Wicker Man insulting the original greatly. Lee even admitted in other interviews how poor the film was. Maybe he has forgiven him?

  • everytime when he talks, its sounds like a song :p

  • If God has a voice, it's Christopher Lee's.

  • Alan Titchmarsh is a cunt.

  • God, I hope he agrees to be in The Hobbit.

  • Christopher Lee may be a bit pompus and name drop quite often. However at 88 and with a career like his, he's damm well earned the right to do so.

  • What a load of horseshit

  • Lee sells himself short. He's a giant in every sense of the word.

  • alan titchmarsh, what a twat.

  • -notice how he just appeared in the chair? no intro? magic powers.....

  • When Christopher Lee speaks, the world listens.

  • "It was a good time for all creatures of the earth, but fate decreed that the dark prophecy of a demonknight could bring a tragic end to this peace scarring their lives forever! Only one person could cross the Darklands surrounding Hargor and venture forth deep into the caves of Dark-Kunor. His is a name the world will never forget, he is Dargor."
  • Chris Lee makes my heart go pitter patter

  • depuis mon plus jeune age je suis fan de Christopher lee :un grand très grand acteur et artiste complet puisqu'il chante aussi , un homme "fantastique "

  • Christopher Lee on the Alan Titchmarsh show?

    The Alan Titchmarsh show? How?

  • He`s clothes, O my god he´s clothes (are dreadfull).

  • Among his other accomplishments, Sir Christopher was one of the best Bond villains; a perfect match for Sir Roger's Bond just as Robert Shaw was the perfect match for Sir Sean's Bond.

  • SAURON IS ALIVE!!!

  • I loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove Chris Lee, SIR Chris Lee. :)

  • I thought Alan Titchmarsh seemed a little in awe of Sir Lee. And thought it was an interesting interview.

  • that was a pretty short interview

  • Got to love his voice

  • I hate it when fucking interviewers dont let the guests speak.

  • A bit pompous.

  • his voice is his best for narrators. He was great in a whole bunch of movies. Star wars, dracula, and wicker man.

  • pity interview was so short could listen to Lee all day

  • One of the bests V.A.'s of all time. Also, quite humble ( something that many asshole actor wannabe's lack today ), admirable sir.

  • makes me sick that christopher lee was only knighted last year yet people like alan sugar have had knighthood's for years

  • what a legend

  • One of the greatest actors of all time. Christopher Lee is the man.

  • Christopher Lee--World's Oldest Badass!

  • I love Christopher Lee is so inspiring to me. He is amazing as Saruman the White in Lord of the Rings. I hope he lives more so i can meet him- i'm only 12!

  • Lee actually looks like Nicholas Cage.

  • @jksonny You're not the first person to say that!

  • nono. Nicholas Cage looks like Christopher Lee.

  • @jksonny NO nicholas cage looks like lee

  • @jksonny No he does not

  • @jksonny You mean Nicholas Cage looks like Lee

  • @jksonny Lol everybody to me lately has been looking like Nicholas Cage . . .

  • @jksonny Surely the other way round...

  • are you drunk lol

  • @jksonny I've always thought he looks a lot more like Jeremy Irons than anyone. lol

  • how does he get these A listers?, they should be on jonathan ross!

  • Probably because Jonathan Ross would be disrespectful.

  • @sirtinycreep indeed. Ross is too cockney. Sir Christopher Lee is THE actor for Britain :D

  • @daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaave: It's true, you put an actor or actress on Jonathan Ross and the man never lets them get a word in.

He's a terrible intervierwe and bloody irritating -_-

  • I think he's in the same class with Ian McKellen..

  • @Acerhio

mckellen is an old queer. no comparison.

  • that Alan Titchmarsh keeps interrupting Lee, terribly annoying...

  • dat voice

  • xD his one of my favorit his voice is so evil xD

  • Why do these interviews have to be SO short? I like the older interview formats (i.e. Cavett) better. Today everything goes too fast.

  • Maybe Lee only wanted to do a few minutes.

  • @manzanoben

I know and WTF was up with the fish and chips announcement at the end?

Christopher lee's time is far more valuable and than any batch of fish and chips.

  • Awsome voice actor! *cough* ansem* cough

  • @AaronWii1 And 88 this year!

  • I love his voice. He is a so great actor. I remember every time I hear him speak his role as King Haggart in the Last Unicorn. It was this voice who makes this movie for me so fascinating as a child.

  • I love how Lee carries on talking about things that clearly Titchmarsh havent got a clue about. Lee would have been quite happy just to continue talking about 007 lore from his awsome arsenal of knowledge and experience for the entire interview if he could. Never have I seen an interview where its been so painstakingly obvious that the interviewer is changing the subject because he realises the thing is straying but doesnt know enough about the previous subject to weav it into a new one.

  • What a great actor and what an amazing life he's having.

  • I think Tom Hanks is one of those giants. :-)

  • @Steena1988 Two of Tom Hanks' best performances were in Cast Away and Road to Perdition.

  • Christopher we love and admire you forever. We welcome you to our Classic Horror Expo next time you are in the USA.

    -Saturday Nightmares

  • Hes voice is great, it inspires wisdom and power :D

  • AT 2:37 you can see his fangs, he really is a vampire.

  • Please don't, he hates that!

  • SARUMANN TRN BARAN

  • Christopher Lee is much better than Gregory Peck was

  • @92af what a silly accompanying commentary to this great actor.

  • Best Dracula ever, despite Lee trying to distance himself from it. :)

  • Jackscal:

I disagree. Mr. Lee "name drops" because he's one of the most prolific actors alive. He's worked with hundreds of directors and actors. If you research his history, he's lived one of the most fulfilling lives imaginable, so what's wrong with an elderly, experienced man in the business having a lot of stories and knowing a lot of names?

He's certainly not pompous. He just has quite a bit of knowledge due to his impressive history, which he loves to share with our generation.

  • Your Giant Christopher and a wonderful singer too:)

  • COUNT DOOKU!!!!!! man this dude is awesome

  • He is a giant and will forever be one... no doubt! :*) Epic actor and probably one of the best around... Love<3:)

  • i love chris lee, he is totally on the ball still at 87, but he can be a bit pompose , name dropping and full of his own self inportance in an interview.

but, hes a great actor and such energy at 87.

  • Always interesting to listen to this dignified gentleman speak. Such a great villain on the screen too!!

  • My god, just listen to that voice, it's actually real!!!

  • He and Ian Mackellen are great actors!!

  • fuck

    yes

    they MUST not die :/

  • absolute legend. one of Britains greatest.

    thanks

    ATVmidlands

  • Christopher Lee is totally awesome. Anyone who likes him should check out his autobiography "Lord of Misrule" I'm currently reading it and it's very captivating.

  • The best "Dracula" by far, by far!!!

  • Wish u have long life and good health, Sir Christopher Lee

  • Christopher lee isn't dead

  • No he isn't he was only knighted last month

  • undoubtedly the finest british actor there ever was (along with peter cushing), christopher lee has carved out a legacy that will never be forgotten. i look forward to each of his new films coming out, and i think its great that he's returned to do some more hammer movies!

  • Christopher Lee is a class actor! Good luck to him at 87 to still be making so many films a year. I agree with what somebody said earlier that he should be awarded the Honorary Oscar for his services to cinema history.

  • Of course he derives from a noble and ancient italian family that's why is so smart and elegant

  • I wish there were more actors like Christopher Lee.

  • The Man is of true noble blood. He can trace his lineage directly back to Emperor Constantine- The 1st Holy Roman Emperor. He bears the Family ring of Emperor Constantine. He's like Aragorn living amongst us.

  • The man is a giant himself... He's 6'5"... Nobody was 6'5" in 1922. Kudos to him for making it as far as he has, and I hope to see him reach 100.

  • He looks damn good for 87 years old

  • Lee is amazing

  • he's so dignified, and intelligent. I hope he returns to do the film that will bridge the Hobbit to the Lord of the Rings.

  • Dignified is the word.

  • He won't be in the first hobbit movie, because Saruman has no part in it as it's only about Bilbo and the One Ring. It's been considered for Saruman to be in the second hobbit movie, but it's not really certain yet (mostly because Christopher Lee said he doesn't wish to come back to New Zealand for 4 more years). What's been said oftenly is that Lee might play the dragon Smaug's voice.

  • Chris Lee also has a record for having the most amount of sword fights in a career (18). He's got such a powerful voice, all he has to do a talk and a movie's quality goes up by at least 50%. His power level is clearly over 9000. And he is also immaculately healthy and i think jogs daily, which is why he's so fit for his age.

  • 1:41 uh oh there he goes again. Explaining in great detail with his amazing voice. Great man! I long for when he in immortalized with the AFI life achivement award.

  • Christopher Lee - A class badassery since 1922. Yeah that's right, since birth the man was badass.

  • Such an awesome voice. All he has to do make almost any film worth seeing is come on screen and speak something.

  • "There aren't any giants anymore". I dunno, I think Christopher Lee is a giant, not just a star! In my humble opinion. ;)

  • One of my Heroes....A veteran and he should hbe awarder with a Special oscar Award

  • I agree!

  • I wonder if this guy smokes or/and drinks. To be that age and still be so on the ball is incredible and very rare.....especially for a man.

  • I don't know his vices.

  • He smokes cigars all the time.

  • im not sure about drinking but he is a cigar afficianado

  • lee is my #1 favorite actor since i was a kid!!! i think he's one of those actors that as he said, when God tells me it's time to wrap it up once and for all, he wants it to happen on the set, and can you blame him? someday(20 years from now)LOL it might happen. this is an actor that won't be mourned, but CELEBRATED i think more than any other actor in HISTORY!! GOD BLESS SIR CHISTOPHER LEE!! HE KICKS ASS!!!!!!!

  • Such an old fashioned English. Sadly nowadays most English people, even members of the higher social classes, lost that way of speaking.

  • This is a man that wont be stopped, he is 86 but I would never believe it if I did not here it from him, he doesent look 86, he is alive and well, long live CHRIS LEE!

  • I have news for you! HE'S 87!!

  • WHAT??????

  • I said, he's 87 years old. Not 86, as you wrote...

  • One of my idols, I pray that I get the chance to meet him before I die

  • Greatest actor of all time.

  • Short wasn't it, you think an acting legend like Lee would have been granted more than five minutes!

  • Way too short, but it's at least something...

  • Im glad too see a new interview of Sir Christopher Lee ^^ His role in Star Wars of Count Dooku is perfectly played . Not to say that Dooku is my favorite character , and Sir Christopher Lee is one of my favorite actors xD

  • Christopher Lee is totaly better than Rod Steiger was.

  • I can't see the comparison...

  • It makes me really sad when i think about that this great actor is probably going to leave use in next ten years.

  • Absolutely amazing to think that in less than 3 years time, Mr Lee's going to be 90 years old ! - he's still got a very quick mind.

    Wow !

  • Wonderful to see a recent interview with him:)

  • It's so awesome to hear that Sir Christopher will be appearing in Season of the Witch (Nic Cage's new movie)!

  • he is now "sir christopher lee" finally

  • Just updated it to Sir. :)

  • Christopher Lee is totaly better than Paul Newman was

  • the christopher lee is cunning. He walks here and they say.

  • Indeed he is a giant. A giant of an actor and a giant of a man also. He's unstoppable.

  • What an enjoyable interview, but Mr Lee was wrong when he said there was no giants any more, there certainly is Him! , I think he is one of our very best actors to date, and still going , what a great man he is, I am sure that every one who admires him will want ..like me, to wish him a very happy 87th Birthday on the 27th of May 09, many happy returns Mr Lee, may you remain with us for a long ...long time to come.

  • Thanks a million for the upload.

  • Again, no probs. :)

  • Thanks for this!!

  • No problem. :)

  • Thanks a million for uploading this. I love Christopher Lee. I hope he lives to be 100or more.
