Real Salt Lake = worst club name ever. News flash: "real" is Spanish for "royal". Spanish teams with that name, like Real Madrid, as sponsored by the Spanish royal family. Since the United States has no royalty and no foreign king sponsors RSL, why are they called "Real" and why do they have a crown on their logo?
@kissfan7 There are plenty of instances like this around the world. If you go to Ecuador, you'll find teams named Barcelona and River Plate. In Belize there's a team named Juventus. In Chile, there's an Everton FC. It's all about the desire to associate themselves with successful clubs they want to emulate.
@kissfan7 yeah and what's with Kansas City's baseball team calling themselves the Royals! Or LA's hockey team called the Kings! Those posers there aren't any kings or royalty in those places!
@kissfan7 "Real" = "Royal" in spanish. If the Kansas City Royals can exist so can Real Salt Lake...although I would prefer Regal Salt Lake because its english and non-soccer fans will think Real (Royal) is real the english word. Clubs around the world name themselves after successful clubs elsewhere.
These camera angles are horrible, go back to regular match highlights.

@MSensky
"Kings" and "Royals" is not a name monarchies put on teams they sponsor.
And other teams' stupid names are no excuse for your club's stupid name.
