greek cuisine consists of turkish cuisine . greeks lived in turkish government 400 years.for example tzatziki comes from turkish word cacik.there are lots of turkish foods in greek cuisine with same or similar names.

you should put to much tzatziki ,the real recipe is:pita,gyros pork(or chicken) tomato onion and vouala you have the best food...

1)pita (cook it in a pan with olive oil)

2)pork souvlaki

3)tomato

4)onion

5)tzatziki(mix yogurt melted garlic ,salt,a pinch of white pepper,a spoon or 2 of olive oil,gratered(little-little pieces) cucumber and an idea of vinaigre.

6)a pinch of finely cuted parsley

7)French fries -optional

8)red Pepper optional(not the vegie,the powder-spice)

Ah, just realized. Oh man that stuff is delicious. Good to find another person that likes Greek food around here! My friends won't even try it! It's ok, they don't know what they're missing.
