i find Mnemic a much more accessable Meshuggah. Meshuggah just takes the offtime shit way too far that it can be difficult to listen to at times. these guys take all the good bits from Meshuggah and put a good heavy melody behind it. Mnemic > Meshuggah anyday!

many of the danish metal musicians are big fans of meshuggah, so yes the rhytmic of the right hand has alot elements from meshuggah. But again, to heck with what kind of metal bands play. its all about writing and evolving in your own direction as a musician :) hopefully that will spawn some fans
