diablo3 is nothing like the diablo universe. the art and colour palettes have been compromised for a much more comical look. hellgate is not a diablo rip off you retard its made from the same people that made d1 and 2 u wank.

If you like the constant RPG repetition killing, getting excited everytime you get loot, this is a fun game online of offline. The weapon modding/upgrading system is the best i have seen since materia in FF VII and the 6 classes can be played completely different ways and still be fun. For the discount 29-39 dollar tag atm, i recommend it jump right into online play though maybe we can sget Namco to keep the server up.
funny you should mention bill roper i was just reading about it. he did an interview in which he said that he has left the company with some of the mythos (?) team and have set up shop at another company and that flagship is sorting is coffers out before they shut shop. if this is true then it looks like the koreans or EA will fight over the remains. but on a funny note if EA get it then i have a perfect title for them...Hell gate london:Street.
i dont know if its true or not but i read that after flagship lost half its staff they wont take anymore subscribers. but anyway anyone know were to get a dye kit from ? it took me an age to figure out how to configure my armour color..i spent 20 levels looking like a copper tank.
lol yea the arent taking any subs for now, because the subscription material is turned off right now. so even us life-time subscribers cant access the subs areas and such. unfortunately the only way to get dyes if you dont have a pre-order key is to kill moloch in the stonehenge area, which btw is a subscriber zone.
OK...but is flagship even open anymore? i checked their forums and no one seems to know whats going on for almost 2 months. i know they getting sued by some korean company and a bank has taken Hg:L as collateral but that was months ago before patch 2.0 came out and a load of people have gone to start a new company.
they are still open, but yes at a very diminished size due to lay offs and the company splitting. no one knows whats going on because we haven't had much official word from bill roper or anyone else still at FSS.

You know all games that are RPG are always grindfests such as Maplestory (which is a life waster), WoW (a time waster), and Hellgate London. But the thing Hellgate doesn't have compared to a lot of other RPGs i've played is that it has a lot of good action and great hack and slash game where you actually need to press the mouse button continuously to keep on attacking. Instead of just...click the monster...wait till it dies...press some hotkeys...and go onto a different monster

to play WoW since 04 and i enjoyed my time there but i got bored of the grindfests and all the BS that eventually never subsided.
Currently im replaying Diablo 1&2 while i wait for Diablo 3 and eagerly await it. I know EX Blizz North peeps made this game and i heard alot of negative towards the game. How is progression for the game? Is it similar to Diablo in the sense that you can solo the content if you choose to not want to play with others? Btw great song, goes perfectly with that game.
This game can be played in single player and multiplayer modes, the single player mode being off-line, and the multiplayer mode requires magical intarwebs.
even though it's online, you do still have the option to play alone, or with only your friends in the multiplayer mode, just like Diablo.
There was alot of negative press on HGL because it had a bit of a rushed release, but they have resolved all the major issues, and the game is doing very well now.
well, you fighting off hordes of minor enemies wasn't so impressive (it's kinda harder with a lvl 19 marksman...) but that boss battle at the end blew me away... nice skills man

yeah you gotta have a pretty serious setup. I was running a shitty P4 3.0 ghz. Even though I have an 8800 GTX, and was getting ridiculous chop.
I have since upgraded my CPU to a core 2 duo 3.0 ghz and run this game flawlessly. You just have to have good hardware....its not the most optimized game in the world.
mmorpg very fun it has both single player and multiplayer multi is fun because you can play by yourself and have the option to trade and quest with other players or run them by yourself and ask for help when needed.
heh cool, look me up and you can join our guild. I don't play on grax much anymore. I have several other characters, but my blademaster that i play often (and will be in my next video) is named ShiraBaika.
as you reach higher levels, better equipment will become available to you. armor generally will progressively look more and more akin to the top-tier armor as you progress. You'll start seeing armor like mine around level 25.
This game rocks :) i started playing 2 days ago and I have a lvl 12 blademaster now. I play wow too but i think hgl is better, way more action... Its my opinion though :)

WoW is bigger and more evovled... Hellgate London is a great idea and when i first played i was an instant convert, everything is just 1 notch up on Wow and on any other games. I just wish that Hellgate London would get more money then tere wuld be 10 times more gameplay, and entertainment...
WoW is bigger and more polished because it has been around for a long time, Hellgate is new and catching up fast because FSS actually listens to their players' feedback :3
just you watch, in a year HGL will stand heads above every other MMO.
you're entitled to your opinion, but for me WoW just doesn't do it. in my taste, a game has to be able to suck you into it's world. Hellgate:London definitely does that for me.
50 is the current level cap, but it might raise later when they add more skills and classes. the only bad reviews i've ever read of hellgate were from launch. hellgate had a rough launch, mostly because EA made them rush things a bit.
Hey I got this game today and I played single player and Im pretty good with good equips. Im wondering if I should play multiplayer to start over, or just finish single player?
i like playing on the multiplayer servers so that i always have the option to play with friends. but things are more subject to change in multiplayer.
the new classes have not been released, nor have we had any official work as to what they will be. they have said they will be adding new skills to the current classes before they add more classes. when they add new skills it is also likely they will be raising the level cap.
Do u use Vista??? and did u install on Advanced instead of Standard? i whant the best graphics i can get and it will still be fast framerate :P rly cool got a blade master myself XD, but i got intel pensium duo core or whatever its called, just whant fast framerate pls XD (And BEST graphics :P)
the shader quality makes the biggest impact on the graphics, and the framerate. i personally like having the model and texture detail set at the highest they will go, and then just play around with the shader quality to find out how high you can get it to go without sacrificing much frame rate. im running on XP pro, so its DX9. i don't think it really matters if you do advanced or standard install.

This game rocks :) i started playing 2 days ago and I have a lvl 12 blademaster now. I play wow too but i think hgl is better, way more action... Its my opinion though :)

I play wow now, and it is a good game, but HGL looks awsome. if i ever play this game (which i might, using my bros acount) i'm starting a blademaster.

Yo peeps ^^ , Man when I first saw this moive I was like , OMFG !!! so I went to the store and bouhgt it right away =P, and now I have played for some weeks and I am lvl 31 with my Blademaster ^^ and I rly enjoy the game.
I played WoW be4 HGL but HGL Rocks soooo damn more than wow.
And now I cant come up with more to say atm ^^
but GLHF ingame (I will atleast ^^)

WoW is bigger and more evovled... Hellgate London is a great idea and when i first played i was an instant convert, everything is just 1 notch up on Wow and on any other games. I just wish that Hellgate London would get more money then tere wuld be 10 times more gameplay, and entertainment...

WoW is bigger and more polished because it has been around for a long time, Hellgate is new and catching up fast because FSS actually listens to their players' feedback :3
just you watch, in a year HGL will stand heads above every other MMO.

you're entitled to your opinion, but for me WoW just doesn't do it. in my taste, a game has to be able to suck you into it's world. Hellgate:London definitely does that for me.

game seems sweet might buy, like the option of multiplayer or single... isn't 50 the highest level so far? I heard some good and bad reviews so far

50 is the current level cap, but it might raise later when they add more skills and classes. the only bad reviews i've ever read of hellgate were from launch. hellgate had a rough launch, mostly because EA made them rush things a bit.

thats a matter of taste, i like the blademaster more, some people are more comfy with the guardian.

Hey I got this game today and I played single player and Im pretty good with good equips. Im wondering if I should play multiplayer to start over, or just finish single player?

i like playing on the multiplayer servers so that i always have the option to play with friends. but things are more subject to change in multiplayer.

the new classes have not been released, nor have we had any official work as to what they will be. they have said they will be adding new skills to the current classes before they add more classes. when they add new skills it is also likely they will be raising the level cap.

Do u use Vista??? and did u install on Advanced instead of Standard? i whant the best graphics i can get and it will still be fast framerate :P rly cool got a blade master myself XD, but i got intel pensium duo core or whatever its called, just whant fast framerate pls XD (And BEST graphics :P)

the shader quality makes the biggest impact on the graphics, and the framerate. i personally like having the model and texture detail set at the highest they will go, and then just play around with the shader quality to find out how high you can get it to go without sacrificing much frame rate. im running on XP pro, so its DX9. i don't think it really matters if you do advanced or standard install.

you can play online or offline. there is expanded content for subscribers who play online.

man u god! I have an guardian on 20 its cool, like an blademaster but I stucked on act 4, please help me, I dont know where to go, need to go to fleet street and hudge hills, can u tell me the way for there? my multiplayer is BUGED and doesn't work =X, but single is cool, only talk me the way and I will be happy
