whatever economic changes Obama implements will be complete and utter bullshit. As long as he doesn't make some serious changes in monetary policy (abolish the "federal" reserve bank, which is neither federal, nor does it have reserves) then the whole economy is going to inevitably accumulate more and more debt.

A lot of independents voted for Obama, and I was one of them. He must know that we aren't loyal to any one party; we'll switch our votes in 2010 if this doesn't go well. I voted a straight dem ballot to help give him the support he'd need to pass these kinds of bills. I just didn't expect it to seem so scary.

Our dollar is nothing but representative debt and backed by nothing. Because this is the case, if everyone paid back their loans, credit, or debt, from denominated dollar bills, there would be no more bills in circulation around the world. Our money is valueless and loses more value each time a new one rolls off the printing press. On top of that, he should be working to dismantle the Fed, stop spending God amounts of money, bring the troops home, work on defending our boarders, cut down the size of government, and use the money left over from cutting back all of these places to rebuild our bridges (instead of printing more money) and give the rest of the money to the people in the mail.

What do you mean we aren't printing money? We sell our debt known as t-bills to the Chinese in order for us to take the dollars they give us to print more of our dollars. That's how borrowing money works. As far as the troops and entrenchment of war goes, the draft being reinstated is very very imminent and we might be on the brink of WW3; so, pulling out and dealing with ourselves at home along with acknowledging we started 2 unconstitutional wars is the best option.
