Shelties rule! They are freakishly smart, eager to please, and so cute! My sheltie learned how to do all of those tricks (except the through the legs one) in a very short time. It's almost like they understand us!

Nah, shelties are not rare. What gave you the idea they are rare? Shelties are one of the most popular dogs in the US today, based on registration records at AKC. They are the most awesome of dog breeds and I think it is only the bad publicity they get for being nervous and barkers that keeps them from being most popular. Where else can you find a big dog brain and heart in a little dog body? And a beautiful body at that! :-)
