@zorrgon56 by now the game is pretty dated, because at the time there were allready a lot of downers. Graphics were all right, just a bit too colorfull (my own opinion). Next to that, the developers stripped some of the best additions of the original games. In the earlier games you could play versus, and you'd be in control of a squad. Shootouts were intense and satisfying, but they took that all out, and replaced it with a standart multiplayer. Campaign is decent, but it lost it's original feel

I think this game is underrated. It's meant to be realistic and feel like the real Operation Market Garden. The locations are real.

People who are used to arcade like shooters where every single shot hits the enemy (even from a submachine gun) and the enemy being idiots who never seek cover themselves, were the ones who didn't like this game.

I absolutely love this story line and game, this one was a masterpiece, I've played the older ones a dozen times each and this one a lot, I've studied the story line and the names and I can pretty much tell who's who without seeing the names, I am the biggest nerd for this game, it has always been one of my favorites.

I'm still playing with this game! Brothers in Arms is much more realistic than call of duty or Medal of Honor not to mention that you can command your team and drive a Sherman which are not available on those 2 other games. So I recommend BiA.HH for every gamer!

Damn, this game really did impress me. I played Road to Hill 30 on the PS2, it was a good - but Hells Highway is taken to a whole other level! The story line's pretty good and I actually did like the missions with only Matt Baker I thought it added something different and unique. Especially that hospital scene, where he's really losing it... One thing though, there's a bit too much redness in the game, lol.

One of the most realistic thing they can do to be very realistic is the hearing of the character. I am a soldier and I know what bombs and rifles etc sounds like. When you fire a weapon without ear protection you barley hear nothing at all for a few seconds. some times do a whistling noises in games when you hear a bomb, but with a bomb you will not hear a whistle for a few sec, you will hear it for more. I said this because with this feature it will put the game in much more realism.

texture irregularities during cutscenes and lack of weapon inertia make this game an 7/10. Multiplayer "nazi waves" mode was so awesome on previous BIA's. But it was not included on this one, maybe because of the processing capabilities. Imagine a wave of 50 nazis = xenon killer. It could have been much better, easily a 9/10 .

It's mostly multiplayer. No crosshair, iron sight only, bullet drop, bullet flight time, machine gun overheat and barrel change (depending upon map temperature), tanks, anti-tank rifles, and so on. It's my favorite game ever. You should keep an eye on Steam. It's $14.99 but it sometimes drops to $4.99. Ah, there are also achievements.
