Ur just so amazing!!! I love all kinds of music but you make everyone love jazz!! I remember getting you're first cd and since then I'm sure u have touched even more people with your talent =)
Have you played any great authors songs in a jazz way and do it in such a great combination? If u aint got nothing good to say, dont say a thing.... J. Cullum is one of the greatest and most creative piano players of our time...
Jamie Cullum is a very talented musician, whether he is performing his own songs or covers. Not everyone can sing someone elses song in a jazz style and pull it off!
pretty cool... i'm a fan of his own songs, but these covers are pretty fun to listen to. cuz he's having fun doing them.. and they sound completely different.
Jamie Cullum have never really made any impact on me.. Im sorry I just think he maybe should write some more himself, and then release, atleast I think that would be more interesting, but no disrespect at all - just write your own songs and perform them please
Twentysomething, All At Sea, It's About Time, Next Year Baby, Get Your Way, London Skies, Photograph, Nothing I Do, Mind Trick, 21st Century Kid, Oh God, 7 Days To Change Your Life, Our Day Will Come, Back To The Ground, My Yard, Pointless Nostalgic, etc, etc. He's written many, many songs my friend. That's HOW he made his name.
nah i completely agree. A Solid musician and performer of course, but his latest album sounds so weak compared to a lot of modern musicians REALLY putting some new stuff out there. I think the very jazzy equivalent of Michael Bublé
@muffedisse exactly! There are loads of songs he's written himself! There's a difference between not liking his style or saying he's a bad musician. Because that is absolutely not true!
Yeah, I know...just like Stronger is Daft Punk's, Touch The Sky is Curtis Mayfield's, and Through The Fire is Chaka Khan's. At least Kanye samples one hell of a lot of different stuff.
And my point is that while plenty of british people have done I've Got A Woman (ex. The Beatles), not many have rapped to it; even fewer rappping while slamming a piano.

He should release an album with his covers on, a lot of them are better than the original to me. But maybe that's just 'coz I like Jamie so much.
chrisdurston 2 years ago 5
I really like how Jamie plays with the songs he does, Very rarely you hear him sing the same words in the song or the same style the song is sang.
