Tthis is really wonderful, with a 10 years old girl. Her hands and her expression is really great!!! Her fingers could move easily between the piano's spans :D
Very nice, too fast though. That's really my only criticism. Just needs to be more relaxed. It's a beautiful piece that should be well paced, yet not fast.
Well it's not exact that Asians are good at everything. They have to work their asses off for it just like everyone. It's the discipline. Anyways, I am now jealous. :-)
@instrumentalist2050b One another thing. You played this one who you're supposed to, not extremely fast (how many people play it), to where you can't enjoy it. GREAT JOB!!!
I am attempting to play/learn this piece on my own and i am failing. considering the fact that I am a 12 year old with 4 years of piano lessons and she is like....7.....i fail. :D
Definitely a talented young lady. It will be interesting to hear her play when she gets older...after life experiences can influence the depth of this piece. It will be marvelous!
that is brilliant im 18 and im learning this song shes just amazing props to her mom for taking her to the lessons or the teacher but Asian piano players are the best
Yeah thats what you like. Cute Kids with technique but absolutely no soul for that kind music. Fills the desires of mothers with lack of abilities who compensate their own lack of self confidence by creating little robot-finger-girls dressed up like dolls.
@manhunter423 Whether her mom made her do it or not, she obviously had to practice really hard to be able to play a piece like this. Only people like you would try to put other people down for working their asses off at something.
@manhunter423 Now why would you assume that? That's an awful and ridiculous thing to assume. It's very rude of you. This could be that little girl's passion for all we know.
For all of you saying she's not playing with "emotion," SHUT UP. She's 10 years old. GIve her a break. When all of you were 10 years old, could you play anything near this difficult? let alone anything with "emotion?" This is freaking amazing. She has SOOO much talent, and she's only ten (well, 12 now). I am so jealous of her. This is simply beautiful!
Very nice, I suggest you search the web for the live action series Nodame Cantabile staring Ueno Yuri. I think both you and your daughter will enjoy. Her performance brought a tear to my eye, it is very nice to see someone appreciate classical music.
Too everyone who made comments about phrasing and dynamics, first, this is a kid. Second, where is your video where you do so much better??? I think her phrasing and dynamics is just fine!?! What exactly do you find fault with? Looking at the sheet music, it looks like she is a master of interpretation to me. Maybe you have ears like spock? Maybe you have the solution to fusion power too???
This has made it all too clear. You can move mountains if you want. Now that she can play it, she should now focus on the dynamics, the phrasing, and the feelings she puts in to her performance. Because right now, it seems as she is just performing this without actually ''knowing'' what she's playing. Like reading a book and not understanding what you're actually reading. Nonetheless, INCREDIBLE for a kid this age.
wooooow can she read notes! im 14 and i cant even read notes i play by ear but shes 10 and she memorized all that. thats what i call real tallent cause thts all her not something a recording studio changed to make it sound better. bravo to her!
Memorizing is good but it shouldn't be considered talent. girl is good but memorization isn't everything. One is truly talented if they can create their own music as well.
