Also i recommend use the resoursces of avisynth for assitence...

I know what you mean, It's sad for me becuase the Major is in constant struggle trying to find her humanity, and questioning wether she's a machine who just died a long time ago. She even dissapears into the net for years on end. If you try to find an interview with the english voice actor, she even admits she can get depressed at Motoko's character.

I have to agree, though I'm a hardcore fan of everything Ghost in the Shell. The SAC and SSS had more in-depth thought on what the original movie set out. It's a wonderful master piece, everything, the movies and show. Sadly I can't really discuss it on this because I'd run out of space to write things, and i'd flood you message box with tons of comments. Well i say that i prefer the SAC seires, but really is hard to say that the movies are "WORSE" than the series. The philosofical depth is almost the same, however what i don´t like is the apocaliptical view from the movie..

INNOCENCE is my favorite anime movie. Although Motoko isn´t there (present), so her being is like a shwadow which following the viewers mind.

In my opinion, it gives "INNOCENCE" the special touch of melancholy feeling...

Thanks, it a funny little irony. It shows evolution and yet as the Major is fighting the tank it also shows the peak of evolution or as humans are still evolving. OR it could mean that what we are doing with technology obliterates the line between man and machine thus putting the thought of Birth and Nature to shame in the process, (This is because the take shot up the wall with the evolution chart on it?) I think..... Just my opinion.

Hmmm its hard to say, since is a symbolic thing, by definition we could interpretate various things from it, but i think is something like u say. Its a commom thing on cyberpunk and pos-cyberpunk fictions; We evolve from 'monkeys', and then we create machines, witch would be the next artificial state of our evolution. And from that, or nature as humans gets obliterate by it...

Indeed, if you've watched any of the seasons at all, at the begining of each one, you'll see a message at the begining that talks about stand alone individuals away from the vast net coalescing into one/individuality. Stuff like that, the whole series is actually based on real life things if you ever watch the comments and such.
