How to enable Push notifications using Push Doctor on an IOS 4 Jailbroken iPhone or iPod touch

when i install it, it says that i had a problem and that it was installed like half of the program, why this happen, how can i repair that so that the program can be installed correctly ???

@narciza19 You do need to turn off your phone, airplane mode won't have the same effect, and just reinstall it.

it works but...when i go into the app, the most recent notifion will not be in the app. this is annoying because the push notification wont show the full message if its long.

Hi Everyone,

I have an iPhone 3g with firmware 4.1 and baseband 6.15.00 but dont know whether my push notification is working properly or not because sometime my phone shows i got mail when i have locked my phone and sometime it doesn’t but on behalf of any application which has a push notification facility i haven’t received any msg when the application is closed.

So can anyone tell me whether i should install push doctor or not, i am confused..

It only fixes push notifications, but the old fix did change youtube so it could fix it yes.

Hi sir i have iPhone 4 with iOS 4.1 jailbroken with "greenposi0n" ... however im using my legit sim since my iphone was officially factory unlocked ... but unfortunately my push notification doesn't work for like ( ym , facebook ... ) it only works for the mail account ... its really pissing me off ... i don't know what else i should do btw i already tried PUSH DOCTOR AND PUSHFIX ... doesn't work .....i really need help and appreciate any solution for my case !!! Thanks

@intanaria Try uninstalling the push applications (ym, facebook, etc...) and installing them again.

@intanaria One way to fix it would be to restore to 4.1 custom firmware (Or to official 4.1 firmware and jailbreak with greenp0ison) if you have 4.1 SHSH's for the device, and before it comes up with the set up screen on iTunes (The one with restore from backup and set up as new iPhone on) to install push doctor and then restore to whatever and sync. (I would reccomend setting up as new device as this can eliminate problems sometimes, but restoring to backup will probably be fine.)
