  • hey thanks for the tips! Ive been eating an apple about an hour before turbo and that has made an awesome difference!

  • Like the video Jenelle. How about somethings people like myself who dont have full use of one limb but also deal with Multiple Sclerosis and have to keep our body temp cool. So maybe you can be one of the first to give some tips to people who are like me. Because I have never seen a trainer or workout coach or anything except Richard Simmons give advice to people who are not fully able bodied. Seems like all of the trainers and all focus all on the able bodied well we are out her too. ♥

  • Awesome Jenelle! Great tips.

  • How to substitute healthier choices while dining out. Or easy ways to substitute ingredients in recipes for healthier options at home!! Workout attire? Makeup? Hair? I would love all of these!! Great videos! Swilliams72707@gmail(dot)com

  • How about a video about dealing with common illnesses like colds and flu. Do you or don't you work out? Also, lots of times I am so tired and run down after the flu or the cold that I can't seem to make it through a complete workout or even to get started. How long is normal for a body to recover? What nutrients are needed to boost my body back to normal function.

  • Love your video's Jenelle! I would love to hear some of your GO TO meals when you are out to eat? My hubby and I like to go out to eat but I know I have to keep a balance with nutrition and working out so we don't splurge! What are some of your FAV places to eat because of their HEALTHY options!?

  • @meensbeans P.S. Jenelle-you can search me on your Facebook like page as Meenah Khosraw. Thanks!

  • I would love to see a video showing what types of foods, times to eat them, portion sizes & best exercise moves to help getting that layer of fat off my "baby birthin' abs"! The first time I put in Turbo Fire, I looked at you and said "that's the type of body I want!", lol. The perfect combination of strength and curves. I've grown to respect what amazingly optimistic, self motivated and fun sisters you and Chalene are! Thanks for being such a great inspiration and role model! Muah!

  • On a poor mans budget.

  • How to start clean eating after a life of eating bad; unhealthy foods.

  • Fantastically informative video, thank you! I would very much like to hear more about how you fight the cravings and if you indulge, what you recommend. I know everyone has their own cravings, but in general what do you use/do to fight the cravings (apart from Shakeology). Also would be interested in the right combination to eat after, to stop night cravings. One more thing (you got me thinking about so many things!) to achieve best results and keep them, how do you switch up your workouts?

  • @MsDeadlybunny GREAT.. i love the idea of showing how to break plateaus and switching up workouts! thanks!

  • Jenelle-

What would be the greatest amount of weight that would be effective for the weighted hand gloves? I currently have 2# per glove and I am concerned if I go heavier I could injure myself. Thanks!

  • would <3 to hear about your favorite PB2 recipe ideas. The chocolate PB2 is my fav.

  • I would love to know what your meal plan looks like and how many calories you consume in a given day, I always struggle with getting enough protein, fat, carbs, ect. How do you get such great results?

  • I would love to hear about how to finish getting my six pack! I eat basically off the top of Michi's ladder and still can not seem to finish peeling the last layer of fat off my tummy. I am on week 3 of P90X and have done 4 rounds of Turbo Fire and or a hybrid mixed with Extreme. Would love any advice or tips!

  • Also maybe a "kid friendly but diet approved food menu" that would help for my munchkins birthday party. I'm so sick of pizza or hotdogs. Unhealthy and bored to death!

  • The satisfying cravings could be "top 5 healthiest but Satisfiying cheat foods". Then provide the recipes. You can even make a week of it.

  • Hi Jenelle. That was a great video. You know how people prepare for a special event? Like a wedding, reunion, anniversary etc. you can do a "what not to eat the week of..." type of video or " how I prepare for my special day". Also but satisfy cravings

  • I would love to know more about when to eat starchy carbs vs the non starchy carbs. Is it better to eat them earlier in the day or after a workout or before a workout. Also, are their any good exercises for our (uhem boobs lol) I lost weight but lost my boobs too..would like to "pick them up a tad" lol. I lift 5 days a week jus not sure if it's the right combo! Thank you! You look amazing!

  • Thanks for the information! I would love to hear your advice about evening/late night cravings. How to not have a snack at night or if you must, what the best choices are. Thanks! :)

  • OHHHH, I actually have one...what about an exercise routine that those of us could do in our office on our LUNCH break! =) Utilizing walls, tables, and chairs that we have available?

  • @betsydieball Great idea Betsy!!! I love stuff like that bc i used to live in a one bedroom apt & really had ZERO space & equipment ..thx for the idea!

  • Great video! I love your humor. I would love to hear about a weekly schedule...or "A day in the life" kind of video. Just for some newbies to fitness, or for those who insist they just don't have the time. Maybe it could help change the mindset of all busy individuals to see you in action!

  • Great video! LMAO @ the HOT hair! ;) I'd like to learn more about Protein and how much we should intake into our diet. Is that the most important part of a balanced diet?

  • A topic for people just beginning, is there a specific workout for their weight loss goals, calorie intake,

  • Thanks for sharing with us! You do look amazing!! It seems as though quite a few people want to learn about the same things. How about snacking with purpose; to avoid muscle soreness/fatigue, snacks that increase metabolism, what to reach for at night without undoing the entire day, etc

  • What is your favorite pb2 recipe?

  • Hey Jenelle,I luv fitness for all the awesome benefits, mind, body & soul & am lucky to have discovered what I love to do & really want others in my family to feel this self-empowerment. So many that I care about struggle with being overweight, have metabolic disorders, chronic pain...I do my best to be a good example but it's hard to approach the topic with people who are so close to you. I want them to feel like I do,any tips on getting somewhat "sensitive" people on board with fitness?

  • Great Vid Jenelle! I would like to see a video about whether you should do cardio before weight training or weight training before cardio and what are the advantage or disadvantages or doing either order. :-)

  • @sfjeld2 this is a good one too and it even ties into another video idea i have. Thanks girl!

  • Love the vid! I would like to see a video on foods to have at the office/desk.

  • Make a video on how to create your own effective rotation...fat loss, endurance gains, strength gains. But we have a hard time sticking to one particular "type" of workout.(e.g.: Just insanity, P90-X, turbofire etc.)

  • How about a something healthy to snack on at night, when u are craving something sweet.

  • @bryanandliz RIGHT ON!!!! I just picked the winner, but u were thissssss close with that one!!! thank you ..it will be a topic soon for sure!

  • Hi Jenelle. I know I asked you this on Facebook a couple weeks ago- but I think it's a good topic for everyone to discuss: how to go out with friends (bars, restaurants, etc), have fun!, but keep the calories low. When I started counting calories after starting TurboFire and reading PUSH, I about fell over after realizing how many empty calories I was drinking/eating SOCIALLY!

  • Hello! loved this video! Here is a topic suggestion for you: I would love a video reminding you to use exercise as a coping tool when you are stressed, not margaritas and a gallon of ice cream! A great workout is the best stress buster in both the long term and the short term!!

  • A topic on whey protein. I'd like to know the benefits of taking whey proteins. Are they necessary?

  • A topic suggestion. How can I minimize muscle soreness after a workout? I know stretching and water help, but are there any foods or supplements that help with that?

    Thanks!

  • I ended a 30 year coca-cola addiction with sweet tea (i know!!!) and now I can't kick it. I'm trying to like water I really am so if you have any advice on kicking sugar besides going to rehab that would be great.

  • I would like to hear about what kind of foods can boost your metabolism? Or maybe something my partner and I could do to ease sore muscles? She is really having a hard time with that :/ Love your vids!

  • I'd like a video where you show a lot of your workout clothes and show which ones you like to use for which workouts. Sneakers and sports bras included!

  • love this video!!! I would love a video on how to recover your muscles with either food, drinks or certain exercises to increase your productivity for your daily workouts???

  • I'd like to hear about energy-producing snack ideas that are easy to prepare and store so that I can just go to the cabinet/fridge and grab one. I'm a court reporting student and need to keep my energy and focus up throughout the day. Thanks, Jenelle!

  • This is a great video! I am a nursing student who wants to eat healthy. Could you do a video on snacks throuought the day or maybe different dinner ideas. Perhaps you could do a video on how to stay motivated and work in workouts with a busy schedule. Another idea is different workouts that can be done at home if you can't go to the gym but still burn lots of calories. I don't have a FB but plan on suscribing to your channel. Thanks!!

  • @JCheartsevery1 I love both of those ideas!! And thanks for subscribing!! Hope to see you on Facebook! It's a GREAT tool for keeping your motivation up!!

  • id like to see something about how to motivate someone who has every excuse in the book why they cant workout and lack motivation and will power to stay on track.

  • awesome J!! You look great and I think I do all of these love the ideas :)

  • @JessicaVaughn2 Thanks Jess!! And your videos of course ROCK too!!

  • I would like to see a video on What to look for or avoid on a Nutrition Label. I think this will be really helpful. :)

  • Thanks so much for the tips Janelle! I love the ideas about the kitchen makeovers especially when children are in the house. I would love to see some tips on how to stop the night cravings especially after a workout. They are a killer! lol

You are such a huge inspiration to me! And I look forward to your next video!

  • @bethannry Those are 3 BIG ONES - kitchen makeovers when you have kids in the house, how to avoid nighttime snacking, and what to eat after an evening workout ... thanks so much!!

  • Thanks for the tips, Jenelle! How about some push-up tips if there are any? I do P90X, CLX, TF, etc, and I just stink at push-ups! Is the key to just keep doing them, or any tips on how to build up to doing them like you guys in the vids? xo!

  • How about some great lunch ideas, that are quick, inexpensive, easy and healthy? I always find myself eating something small for lunch.

  • I also saw a segment with Jillian Michael ordering in a restaurant....that would be a great video as well ....tips for staying on track when out with friends/family and how to navigate a restaurant menu and keep on track!

  • Hey Jenelle - A few videos I would like to see.....how about a tour of the grocery store, showing your best choices for foods and how to shop clean!! I ask my trainer all the time what about this bar or that food, etc. It would be like going with you on a shopping trip and getting educated about what you buy!!

Also, how about a rundown of your favorite treats and substittes, like the post you had on your movie treats - the popcorn and caramel flavored tea I think - that kind of info is great!

  • I would like to see you do little clips similar to Chalene's "Healthy Eats and Kitchen Makeover" DVD on CE. I loved your facebook page with the picture of the bowl of food you had for lunch. I would love to see more posts with the recipes in the post, showing great ideas for the different things you make for breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. It is inspiring and helps me get creative to make similar things! Thanks!

  • @EmSwanston - Thanks for sharing such great tips Jenelle.

I would love to get some tips to take when travelling?

Also if you any tips you have for training lower body?

Thanks again for sharing, so nice of you!

    Love your work :)

    @EmSwanston

  • @EmJSwan013 thanks my twitter friend!!! :) Did you see the video ideas i had for travel on my youtube channel?.. I probably suggested some of the same ideas ...maybe you need more though?

  • @JenelleSummers Oh yes I just re-watched that one (hangs head in shame for forgetting about it ... embarassing!!! ;))

Those tips are great, I will get my sister to set me up with some P90X bars and Shakeology packets when I get to CA.

Any tips for lower body workouts?

Or dealing with the challenge when you need to lift super heavy weights to fatigue your lower body but your upper body cant keep up?

Any info you share will be perfect! Your doing a killer job, thanks again for sharing :)

  • I love your tips! I would love to see one dedicated to making sure you use proper form. For example when I do TurboFire and she talks about making sure your form is proper, how can I figure that out? Are there any tips or tricks to it? Thanks!!! monicapanfilphotography@gmail.com

  • @RidaTempest, I'm a student too! And Shakeology is far out of my budget. Shame to, it would be great before my morning classes!

@JenelleSummers. Mmmm that P90X bar looks like it would be tastey! Great video, very informative! My idea for the next video is a big topic that can plague EVERYONE with a weight loss goal. How can you break the dreaded plateau?

  • Tips for making my own workout schedule with all of my favorite programs (weightlifting and cardio).

Safe ages for kids to begin working out.

I have a tip for a yummy salad meal: Instead of a salad with dressing and a baked potato with butter, peel the potato and cube it, and put on salad. Drizzle 1 Tbs of oil and 1 Tbs of apple cider vinegar with a little sea salt-delicious. Add a sprinkle of ground nuts and sesame seeds also. or grilled veggies(asparagus) in place of the potato.

  • Hey Jenelle! Great info! I would like to see what foods you generally keep in the house with having a child. I have 2 girls, ages 8 and 11 and they of course always want the snacky things! I am trying to keep a clean diet so I just want some tips on what would be good to have that kids might enjoy! Plus, I would like to see one on how often you should workout. I here all sorts of things that you can actually work out too much. Just wondering if that is true? Thanks for your time!

  • @turbofoy I like these ideas ALOT! I especially like addressing ideas for snack items in the house when you have kids..that can be a HUGE culprit for weight struggles...for us AND them. Thanks, great idea!!

  • I would like to hear your opinion on HIIT cardio workouts vs. steady state cardio workouts. I have been hearing a lot lately about how steady state cardio is useless and how you shouldn't even bother doing it. What do you think??

  • Hey Jenelle! You've always been so helpful to me on FB and I truly appreciate it, its truly appreciated. My question is I've heard the best way to really get lean is to do about a half hour of weight training followed by half hour of cardio...in that specific order too. There are some explainations that basically say its the best way to burn more or is more efficient in burning fat. What are your thoughts on this?

  • Great advice here. New video idea: I have struggled a few times with how to negotiate my workout schedule (working on TurboFire right now) and getting sick or injured. It doesn't happen often, but if I do have some chest congestion, I don't like to work out. When I am ready to workout again, how do you suggest getting back into the schedule? Intuitively, I don't start where I left off, but I was hoping you had some sort of formula for dealing with getting back to workouts after time off....

  • Hi Jenelle, I would love a video on how much protein grams should one consume to maintain the muscle from the strength training ? I don't know if I am eating enough grams. For instance my yogurt has 6 grams of protein. is that enough? I eat every three hours and try to get protein in every meal, Is there a too much protein also? Also when you reached your goal in strength training as far as I lift 15 and I don't want to go heavier .How often should I do strength training just to maintain?

  • Fun, effective and down-to-earth video. I loved it. I just ordered the E&E drink and can't wait to try it. Thanks for reminding us that pre-workout fuel is something to even think about! Sometimes my workouts creep up on me and I can't remember the last time I ate or even drank water! Then, of course, I'm starving later! This will help me schedule better and plan ahead.

  • @turbotrina thanks trina!! Exactly..sometimes things come up and then it's like "oh, i've got to work out NOW.. yet, i haven't eaten in 3hrs.. so this E & E is perfect in those situations to get you thru!

  • Great ideas :) I would really love to hear what different types of exercises you do to stay away from creating a plateau! This is always a big problem of mine and I want to know what you think the best ways to create dimension in your workouts so you are not always doing the same thing! Thanks :)

  • @Mysarahber ohh..i would love to do a video to show all the diff workouts i do! thanks for the idea!

  • I usually eat something ~30-60 before I do a Turbo at noon. And I keep getting stomach aches and hunger at the same time. Not sure what to do. I want protein to help with the hunger but I think it gives me stomach aches. I also am a student, so shakeology and other fitness supplements are too expensive for me. I'd love more ideas for this problem! I'll try some of the things you posted at the end!

  • @RidaTempest By chance are you eating something with maltitol in it prior to your workouts?? Like i was saying in the video, a lot of high-protein bars & supplements have ingredients that will upset your stomach..sometimes it's HOURS later so you don't even realize that's what's doing it. Try some of these things listed in the video & let me know:)

  • @RidaTempest I am right there with you! I get stomach aches too but I get hungry by the time I need to work out and I can get awful pains in my stomach! I would love to start doing shakeology but I too am a college student and the higher quality supplements aren't in the budget. I wish we had more local stores that sold PB2 as well. I have to order it online and the shipping is a bust but yeah. I completely agree with this post and I am glad I am not the only one with the stomach problems.

  • Hey! Great video! I am always scared to eat a lot before a workout, but like to from time to time so that I am not STARVING afterward! My suggestion for your next video topic is STRENGTH TRAINING. I get a lot of questions on the why you would choose between going with heavy weights (x10 reps, for example) or lower weights with high reps. I personally mix it up, but some believe in one and not the other. A video explaining the place for BOTH would be awesome! Thanks!

  • @FitByAndrea That's a GREAT topic for video, thanks andrea!!

  • I will be 50 years old this year. I did P90X last year and I started it again 2 weeks ago. My problem is I am not a healthy eater. I do not eat veggies. Never have. Truthful, when I try to eat them, I get sick every time. Believe it or not there are a handful of us that exercise but do not eat healthy. I do need help on this because it is a struggle for me and I do have to work harder for my weight loss due to this problem. The food I eat is what kids eat. Honest!

  • @tlynnlittleton i REALLY appreciate your honesty!! ! I get my daily veggies usually from my Shakeology (which has almost 4 servings of fruits & veggies) and every day for lunch i have either a salad or a veggie sandwich. I like veggies if i can hide them in stuff :) You DO have to start acquiring a taste for certain foods by going "cold turkey" on the high-carb, high sugar foods..the more you eat of those, the more you'll crave, & the more the CLEAN foods seem boring& intolerable! Great idea!

  • Hey Girl, I want to know where do you get all of your workout clothes. I get this question about 9 million times a day... and now you get to hear it from me. But the clothes in the TF workouts and CLX dvd's ... and in all ur Turbokick pics. Let me know... I am so tired of my shorts riding up my butt!

  • @mommahass i actually never wear shorts except for on a beachbody film set! They ALWAYS ride up on me & we actually use a product called "butt glue" to keep them in place for filming! LOL. We always wear brands like LuLuLemon, Nike, BebeSport, etc :)

  • Great video Jenelle your videos are always very inspiring, Thanks Keep them coming! For a video idea I would like to see or hear more about Turbo Fire's 5 Advanced DVDs.

  • @CopperKates ohh...can't really talk about those yet until they're released! :)

  • @JenelleSummers oh fun! How Exciting!:) But I was talking about the TurboFire® Advanced DVDs that is presently an upgrade..if you purchased the basic TurboFire Package.

  • Jenelle~ it's great to see that I am eating almost the same exact things! Although I prefer to workout at 5am & w/ an empty tummy. I would like you to do a video on protein. I have tons of potential customers that are always asking me for advise in protein and I think that if you had a short video talking about lean meats and protein then that would be helpful. Thank you!

  • @coachcrystalpaul Great idea crystal !!

  • Thanks! That answers part of my question. I would also love to hear about ways to get into the habit of eating consistently throughout the day. I find that I have to make myself eat tiny meals/snacks so that I don't go into starvation mode. Before I was serious about working out I could go until 1pm with just coffee. These days there's no way that would work. I hear you are supposed to eat every few hours, but honestly I run out of ideas as to what to eat! Thanks for ALL of your help/info!

  • @bhuerta75 this one is hard for me to relate to because i LOVE to eat and have more ideas than my calorie range can handle..lol. So yah, i should be able to give you some ideas! thanks for this video idea!

  • Love it, I am always looking for great information like this regarding fitness and nutrition. Would like to know your suggestions for healthy dinner options after evening workouts.

  • @kellyfultz1 ahh...good! did you see the meal i posted on my like page this evening? Just search Jenelle Summers on Facebook if you didn't see it ..that's one of my favorites. But i had it for lunch. I usually do Shakeology for dinner (with added ingredients) then a couple hundred calories a couple hrs later :)

  • Great video Jenelle!

  • I liked the video and would like to know what I should eat after working out? How long do you eat after working out? - thanks

  • LOOOVE the choices J!! Awww and you still have my pic up you and I up there ;) xoxo

  • @fitaddicted are you kidding me !?! Of course Meg!!! :)

  • Hi! Very informative. I always wonder what to eat after a workout. Thank you!

  • Jenelle, great video!!!!! Great suggestions! I would love for you to make a video about a full day of what you eat for each meal, on a regular day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. People like to know in detail what super fit people eat!

  • @TheBarber747 Well i have to admit, i've had this requested before.. i just hate for people to think they should eat what *i* eat.. when i'm not a nutritionist and they might like COMPLETELY different foods that are equally as nutritious .. i eat what i eat partially because it's healthy but also due to my tastes & schedule. But i'll consider! Thanks!!

  • very informative.. :P and your funny too!!!

  • @foreveryoung0072pet thank you! i might just add u to the drawing just for the compliment!! ;)

  • @JenelleSummers Well, it's true you made me laugh when you phone went off. Also, I am convinced to get the PB2 because you gave us a preview of it. And, to top off YOU (I noticed recently) are in one of my motivational screen saver pics with your sis and 3 others!!! tee hee :) Your whole family is great!

  • I would like to know if you know any silly tricks to drink the recommended amount of water a day. I drink water all day long and I still feel like I dont drink enough.

  • @Diesel487 I fill up my gallon jug every morning and I keep that on my computer desk all day. If I ever leave, or go to the gym, I fill up a gatorade bottle. Recommended dosage is at least a gallon of water a day for ATHLETES. :)

  • @Diesel487 I should emphasize, AT LEAST a gallon. :P

  • Thanks for the tips! I know it seems obvious but what about what to eat after, and how long after your workout shoud you wait to eat?

  • Great Video..Great Info My question is big tummys I would like to know what foods to avoid to help you lower tummy and which to choose to help while toning my core (tummy) lol i work on my abs/core religously but i know foods makes up other part...so thanks edanalm@gmail.com

  • I am so glad that you said E &E doesn't give you the jitters I have been wanting to try it. I saw you put something on FB about Clean Eating magazine. What kind of Clean Eating recipes do you use?

  • I'd like to know if you are using Shakeology as a pre workout formula and not as a meal for the day what are some other options for breakfast if you are not able to workout until super late at night? I'd love to eat shakeology 3 times a day, but sticking to one is good enough for now. how often are you eating if your running a 7am to 2am schedule? tnx girl!

  • the next video i would like to see , how to curb a sweet tooth....what healthy foods....or how long does it take to get great abs! thanks...Alison

  • Hiya, I'd like to know how much time is required between intake of Results&Recovery formula and Shakeology, Usually I consume R&R immediately after my morning workout and then 30-40 min later Shakeology for breakfast, is that enough time? Thx :)

  • Awesome video Janelle!!! I would love to know what you eat late at night if you have a late workout or are just starving!!!

  • @amberblanch2001 yes, LOTS of requests regarding late night eating and late night workouts, etc. I think that's definitely one i need to address! :)
