  • How can one built something like this into an existing wall? That looks very complicated.

  • @waddleduckie1 not actually, just find the schematics to the house, make sure their is enough room for the tv, make sure no wires are going through that part of the wall, cut the drywall/wood, and put a metal box into that hole and put the tv in. the picture frame is easy too

  • :-) of course- very clever thanks. It does look impressive.

  • Why would you want to hide your plasma screen???

  • just to make it look slick ewhen u enter a room then the tv apears...(drum rolls)

  • Because you can! Seriously though, it all depends on your decor - if you have a modern decor then a plasma screen looks good and fits in. If you have antique furniture or a more period look, then it is nigh on impossible to make a TV look good. You can't just put an antique picture frame around it, so you have to hide it when you're not using it! I've only seen these mirror TVs used in bathrooms though. Looks good.

  • Thanks for the video, really useful. We decided to go for the German manufactured ad notam product which we sourced from Simply Mirror TV in the UK. We did this to avoid the construction work involved installing a plasma lift.
