Actually, Ion died because Anise's father is an idiot and got scammed. If he didn't get in debt with Mohs, the replica Ion wouldn't have died.

But even so, he said he would get the miasma out of Tear, and when he did that he took it in his own body. So it probably couldn't been avoided

-SPOILER- (my memory's a bit iffy but it will give you the general idea)

Anise was originally a spy for Mos because Mos held Anise's parents hostage for some reason I forgot. As a result, Mos wanted Ion to read the ______ fonstone in order to set Anise's parents free. However, it would kill Ion because he didn't have the stamina to read the entire fonstone and live. So Ion read the fonstone and died, Anise blames herself, and Arietta wants revenge for Ion. Hope that helped lol

really i don't believe Ion was truly worth sacrificing, he's the center of the religion of the score, Van may have been working with Mohs to kill Ion, to further crush the score and those who read and live by it

I noticed something. In another vid of yours, Anise had a different costume, but could still use Resurrection. How can you use it on both costumes if there's a certain costume requirement?

The ability actually comes not from the costume title, but from Tokunaga's head. Throughout the game you find various accessories that you can equip to Anise to change the appearance of Tokunaga's head. Some of these also come with special abilities, in this case Resurrection. The body costume is from Anise's costume title.

As horrible as it sounds...for some reason or another I always feel bad the the villians of stories. Expecialy the "Taleso of..." villians. I mean, I felt bad for Mithos, and now I really feel bad for Arietta. I mean, there is always to sides to a story. I understand both points of views and I wish there could have been another way, but somtimes there just isn't so you just have to face the fact.

Yeah, I feel bad for Mithos, a little bad for Dhaos, bad for the lady in Eternia (forgot her name). But that guy in Destiny was just an ass, IMO. Arietta seems worthy of emphathy.

Ah, got to this battle this weekend, much to my dismay. It's always a rather sad idea to continue on with the story afterwards.

Either way, you lucked out more then me. Arietta managed to get off Big Bang 3 times and Evil Light once. Luckily, she was the only one alive when she casted Evil Light and Big Bang once.

I bought me a new slim-PS2. I'm surprised how small it is (smaller than my laptop) as well as the retail box (as big as a video card retail box!)

Now I got to figure out how I should mod it so I can play my imports (especially when Tales of Destiny comes out). I'm leaning towards the Flip-Top option since the Swap method (with the 3 pieces) seems hard to install.
