i never heard r2 make those sounds on any of the movies, i got it last night and my little sister left it on all night! So, i went to target to buy batteries and all the batteries i need for the toy was about $16! about the same price as the toy itself! the toy costs about $18 including tax! OMG so i bought the clone wars version for $25 and rechargable AA batteries and rechargable AAAbatteries . the clone clone wars version require 4 AA and 2 AAA!!!! i would say that would be a better deal!

Great added sound effects Dustin. I'm sure my boy would love driving me crazy with that. Better yet, get my daughter one and have an astromech throw-down!
