@jambalolk: Do you realize that there is a loop system? You absolutely cannot lose here because you start over in day 2 after the "epilogue" with the same Merchant Level, Items you have but your money starts over to 1000

You're better off just losing. You restart from Day 2, but you keep your merchant XP, store, and inventory.

It's a very trainer-friendly game. And after the patch to 1.106, the addresses remained the same, so it works with both 1.101 and 1.106.

@MithranArkanere Care to share the code for Merchant Experience? Had to pull some hair for that one since there is no specific number and i can't be assed with guessing.

Assuming it's cheat engine you use. I don't trust trainer.exe programs :(

@jambalolk It's rather easy, you use 'unkown initial value' and then search for 'increased value by' after a sale, using the total amount shown at the end of the sale (The last orange number, that number includes any green, blue or red numbers that appaer before)

So if you just sold an apple and earned 12 Merchant exp, you search for that.

But if you got 15 Near Pin, +2 Just Bonus, you'll be earning 17, and that's what the last orange number will show, so you search for that.

So far, I've tried using "Unknown Value" and then "Coded Value", and limiting myself to 1 or 2 integer values, but to no avail. I would be able to change a number graphic-wise, but it's actual value remains the same. (I'm using ArtMoney btw), sorry for replying to a 2 month old post, but any ideas? Many thanks in advance.

@lorien1st Arma's Ammo count is a byte, and the max is 100.

Different weapons consume different amoutns of ammo.

Each one of the 'clips' shown counts for 100 ammo.

When there's not enough ammo, the it will fire anyways.

For example, with a weapon that costs 3 ammo, it will fire 33 times with a cost of 3.

But 1 ammo remains, so it will fire a 34th time with 1 ammo.

But's that¡s tricky. Because if there's than 10, the clip will appear empty.

So if you have 3 clips, you'll have 30..39 ammo.

That's why it may look as if you don't have ammo, but you can still fire, if you have a weapon that consumes less than 10 ammo, you may get the lass clip under 10.

Thanks for this. I never knew about Cheat Engine , but now I've found out that the website has a list of hexes you can edit for Recettear. I only cheat when not cheating would be less fun than cheating (i.e., I'm about to die in a dungeon and I'm out of healing items, and would be furious if I lost my items). So when it gets to that point, I adjust my experience to the point where the next enemy I kill levels me up and gives full health. Haven't been using it for money, since loops are OK.

@newgamexx I highly doubt you will get banned for modifying a single player game. If this was an online game however, i think the game would have some sort of cheat protection.

I bought the game on steam, cheated on it. Everything is still fine. I would not however, have cheated if there was a cheat protection in the game. But there is not.

@jambalolk If you sent single-player trainers to some anti-virus companies, they'll identify them as 'game helper'.

The only one you 'harm' cheating in single player if yourself.

Unless you don't have for grind, and you want to see the real parts of the game. In that case, there's no harm for you, you are just skipping the boring grind.

A different thing would be if there was a leader-board or achievements. In that case cheating would be unfair.
