  • The best vocal-violin version I've heard. Very beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Doug

  • @2ndviolinist

    Most welcome...

    Happy you like!

  • Doug, exqusite performance! Lovely photo. Thank you. Maya

  • Awqesome

  • I love the violin dueting with Eliszabth.

The instrument and her voice blend as ONE!

    SPIRITUAL, BLISSFUL....SUBLIME!

    Merci.

  • Wow! This was fantastic Doug, and what Meltzerboy said kind of happened. Bob didn't exactly bow down, but he did hide under my chair for this one. Mabye it was the violin? I certainly enjoyed it even if Bob didn't this time. I'm also about to post German Soprano Elsa Alsen's version of this wonderful classic. I hope you'll enjoy it.

  • Hi Lloyd: Oh well... two outta three ain't bad, right? But you liked it and that's good enough and then some. Hopefully Elsa Alsen will meet with Bob's approval. Thanks & Cheers! Doug --

  • Simply beautiful! A masterpiece indeed....

  • I see no reason why all creatures--including althazarr's cat, Bob--should not bow down and worship the divine sound and artistry of Rethberg's voice.

  • Gorgeous.

This is the real Rethberg: one of the supreme lyric sopranos.

  • Beautiful legato. Max Rosen matches her vibrato on his violin.

She is the best. A lovely record.

  • Doug
