@blackpunk1991 That was eloquent. Part of the reason this movie sucking is because it is really preachy. The other part is Kirk Cameron. Kirk ... I could go on and on about the guy, but from now on he's the Crocoduck kid. The movie reeks of desperation as the character Caleb smashes his computer to pieces with a baseball bat in order to remove the temptation of viewing internet pornography.

God used this movie to restore my marriage when it was in the brink of divorce. I don't care what anyone says, Jesus is real and he can restore what once was damaged and considered lost. I thank God for this movie and the vision of the people who created it. God Bless.
Even if your NOT CHRISTIAN don't let that stop you! This is a really spiritually awakening story, it speaks volumes to the truth beyond knowledge.(WARNING: contains a little provincial dogma.. )
Probably the only thing it didn't address was that a couples love(spiritual bond) needs to grow beyond themselves, immediate family, friends & to include a growing love & compassion for animals & nature, however, for that I recommend watching PEACEABLE KINGDOM
the protagonist ("caleb") looks just like an ordinary joe-husband, and Cathrine looks like a good looking, bloodless bitch. She is a classic pessimist, and When married to women like that, no flowers or chocolates will ever be enough. This movie is a good drama, but marriage like that is a trail of tears in the real life (especially when Caleb sees those friends wives who are more affectionate and optimistic about life.)

Have you ever seen the movie the Notebook? That movie will make you cry a lot too. This movie is just like the Notebook. Both movies are examples of true love. If either of you want to understand or see an example of real TRUE LOVE, then watch either Fireproof or the Notebook. Both movies are fantastic.
