I find the German version well performed musically, but the direction was not as good as in the other countries.

The show was directed in Germany by Mitchell Lemsky who was also in charge of Broadway, Japan and other productions at different times.

Yeah I know, but when I saw it on Broadway, someone else was in charge. I didn't get to see it in Japan though, but saw all the clips uploaded here. I like the Australian, West End, and Dutch productions; dynamic, gritty, realistic, not just about Kim and Chris, somehow it was about all vietnamese. Kim became just one story, lifted from a sea of similar tragedies. It magnified the tragedy of it all.

yeah...i can understand that they worry people might make money off of this stuff somehow and i know some of it is to protect the actors/actresses image but if anything having it available to a degree online MOTIVATES people to want to see the show...how I got hooked on Wicked...i bought both of the books the second one is lying open by where I'm typing actually.
