Not likely. Even so-called "confession letters" from peoples' relatives who claim to have been "The Ripper" are a dime a dozen, and what evidence and facts we do have pertaining to the case doesn't often amount to much (in terms of any sort of confirmation as to the killer's- or killers'- identity).

I believe Jack the Ripper was the American psuedo-doctor Francis Tumblety for the following reasons:

1. Tumblety hated prostitutes because he discovered his wife had been one.

2. He collected female uterus's in jars.

3. He did not have sex with his victims, he had turned to homosexuality in disgust over women.

4. After his release on charges of "ludeness" Scotland yard sent 2 detectives to America to question him, over a misdemeanor? No, Ripper suspect!
