  • Ive done that with my 2000 tacoma but I broke down on the way home because of my alternator, what do I have to do for that not happen?

  • do your speakers still work??

  • to do this how would i keep water from getting into the interior? would i have to replace all the door seals?

  • @kewl192 that would help a lot, but i have never seen a vehicle that absolutly didnt let any water in at all. not saying it cant be done, but iv never seen it

  • @kewl192 first you would have to get a "diving" siren.

  • haha i love that, "what a tard!"

  • That river doesnt look dry to me lol

  • i like the setup of this truck and very simular to what i want to do. is the front locked?

  • @BLACKLACDTS yes it is, front is an arb and the rear is the stock TRD electric locker with the grey wire mod

  • where can i get a snorkel like this for my 86 toyotat 4x4

  • @TR4CY209ER Just google snorkel for 86 toyota 4x4 and your computer will go retarted with snorkel companies.

  • OK.. i have a Question.. When you do this, Do you disconnect your Fan or something?? because when i do this my engine Boggs down bec its trying to turn the fan...

  • @91toyotaoffroader no. sounds like you have a bad fan clutch. just ease in and a good fan clutch will release friction on fan from the coolness of the water. if you hit it to fast your fan will porpeller itself up into your radiator and leave a nice ring.

  • @txtallywhacker o ok well i think thats my problem.... i think i hit the water to fast every time not giving my engine time to cool.. Thanks man!

  • @txtallywhacker you can also put your radiator in the bed and run your hoses back and wire up and electric fan or two on it. thats wat ALL the big trucks around here do.

  • is that a scuba flag on the front bumper? nice touch for the toybota

  • I wouln't be worried about getting myself or the carpet wet, it's the electricals I'd be worried about. Does it just seep in around the bottom of the door or in the sides too?

  • @HedgehogOutdoors Wouldn't***

  • Loved that was great....

  • only in a Toybota !!!

  • Alright then! F the carpet when i get a snorkel!

  • @Txtacoma1 ok but be very careful as the air bag boxes air under the dash in front of shifter. water got to top of seats and those little things gave up the instant water hit them

  • Did you have to seal anything esle off like your cab or anything? im wanting to snorkel my tacoma but im worried about the water getting in the cab.

  • @Txtacoma1 ohh yeah it gets in the cab. suck it up and dive on in !! carpet is for grocery getters anywho

  • im thinking about putting a snorkel on my tacoma but im worried about getting water in the cab... is there any way to seal off the cab that you might know about?

  • @Txtacoma1 yeah it gets in the cab. dont be a panzy, itll dry out. carpet is for grocery getters anyways

  • @txtallywhacker rhino liner is the way to go!!

  • @Txtacoma1 yes just seal them and no water will get in but you will eventually start floating since you dont let water in

  • @Txtacoma1

There's drain plugs under the carpet.

  • @pablof59 funny you say that cause about 5 months later the left front wheel bout fell off

  • did you get any water in the cab?

  • How much of a lift does that Taco have?

  • Did any water get into the cab?

  • nice.. that is deep water...

  • oh man that would have been hilarious if there was a guy out the window with an oar.. haha not like you would ever need it in a yota!!! TOYOTA FOR LIFE

  • hehe toyboata love toyotas...How much all that stuff on yo rig set you back? looking to do something along the lines of this to my taco once i find a good deal.

  • arb snorkel is about 400. warm m8000 winch is about 800. arb bumper about 900. and the roof rack was about 300.

  • Did you have to waterproof any other parts? Starter motor and plugs maybe?

  • @jimmy5willy starter motor has a drain. toyota engines are pretty well sealed from the factory, need to find a power steering pump cap with a breather tube though.
