5 stars, i have a cherub electronic tuner, my thick E string broke once and i got a new one, how do i tune it to D (DADGBE)--- becuz when i loosen it it loosens and then doesnt even register on the tuner, im so scared if i tighten instead of loosening it'll break help, newbie!

@chnl9 well first off the guitar strings are numbered from bottom up, dadgbe would be ridiculous... ebgdad is just your low e string tuned down two steps, so on the seventh fret it should be an a... you get it?
