If you read up on NASA about the shifting of the earth on its axis, you will see confirmation that yes, the poles have shifted. The earthquake in Japan that moved Japan 9ft off the map is a sure, visual, truth that the earth has been knocked off its axis. USDA changed planting seasons...now all have a b planting. Here in Oklahoma city, er were always 7 zone, as of 2012, we are now 7a (warmer region). The zones have gone from:1 to 11 (for decades) to 2012: 1-15 and a-b regions. Meaning you were once a 1, your area is now a 1a or 1b etc and the USDA has ADDED 4 extra zones (from 11 to 15), PLUS added a & b's. This means...30 zones! Pole shift.. think so!

I saw some shows on the History channel two years ago that talked about the "wheat belt" moving northward. The data has always been around. If the wheat belt is moving further north, then it's only logical that it would get warmer. It's moving partially because the ocean currents are changing up the Atlantic seaboard because of the melting ice. It's changing the dynamics of the weather further North. This was predicted a while ago.
