  • lol the dummy waving to the crast test people. "Yep it's all good i'm ok."

  • he was more like hi five

  • the dummie was like "hi guys" "oh shit"

  • What's up guys?? Just crashin' cars as usual

  • That airbag is very shy, but it's also very safe.

  • The dummy was like, Yeahhhhhh!!!

  • i'm getting this car tomorrow! it can sense how much the driver weighs and how close they are sitting to the airbag---so the airbag deploys with the perfect amount of pressure. it has tons of standard features like that!

  • the dummy waved at me

  • lmao

  • thebigsee: you hit the nail on the head. I own an AWD 08 Taurus I bought this May for under 12k and it was like new. Original msrp was about 27k. These cars don't hold their value well but are a steal as a used car. Maybe not as refined as some of their Japanese competition but a better value when bought used by cheapies like me. They also are very well-built. The Camry's a good car, but I'd rather be in my car in a crash as the above video speaks for itself. With 263hp it hauls ass too.

  • I love the 08-09 Ford Taurus so much!!!!

  • yea its the younger brother of the ford galixie 500 and it has a 6speed tranny i got an 07 fuker keeps up with benzes

  • FORDS ROCK!!!!!!

  • @fordhonda230 hell no bitch chevy better

  • @lupa186 Any american car is better than Toyota.

  • @MSNIMSM no some jap car corps at one point got loads of top safety pick to cover the whole model range so ha have fun pushing your 1994 f150 once it reaches 209,000 mi

  • @iTsKoNvIcT My dad had a Toyota pick up and the thing blew clutches out in it every week. He's good with driving a stick too. I see plenty of F150's with 200,000 on them still going strong. Do your research and shut up.

  • @MSNIMSM wait until it dies because on top gear a toyota truck was tortured and it worked

  • @iTsKoNvIcT Thats becuase they babied it. Any vehicle could do the same, Toyota is just over rated.

  • This is extremely freaking safe. 6 stars IMO.

  • 5 stars + 1 bonus star because the airbag didn't hit the dummy as it deployed.

  • shit ! u could get some major whip lash

  • This car has been a dud sales-wise for Ford but it's got great safety ratings and gets decent mileage for the size. You can get them dirt cheap too.

  • AWD as well.

  • This car is called Ford Mondeo in Europe

  • This is not the Mondeo. The Five Hundred is based on D3 architecture that underpinned the first gen S80. The Mondeo is a totally different vehicle based on a different platform. The last time we had a Mondeo-based vehicle in America was in the 1995-2000 Contour. I know, I've had one for 9 years and they're very good handling vehicles. Not to be a jerk and say "you're wrong" pilot696, but I just wanted to let you know that they're on different platforms and aren't really related... :)

  • NO its not, the ford mondeo its completely different

  • lol

the crash test dummy waves like "yeah, im fine"

  • yea, good that the dummie can be a human

  • it was a hell of a car until my brother hit a pole with it and it went up in flames and totaled it.

  • yeah, i bought one. shame they aren't popular though.

  • well that's good for you then, at least you know it has a low chance of getting stolen. So look on the upside.

  • yeah me too but the 2010 taurus looks hot.

  • I like the design of it actually.
