You can tell it's a filter because in a real chemical reaction fire, the flame changes colors as it changes temperature range. This one just.... went out, no color changes what so ever. =] Nice trick tho.

all you need is some boric acid and a splash of Heet fuel. Step 1 add Heet Fuel in a metal bucket or whatever that doesnt break. Step 2 add boric acid. Step 3 mix and let it stand for about 30sec's Step 4 Light it up and Green Fire Come's Out. If you wanna know how to make green fire balls all you do is add the boric acid to the Heet Fuel in the Heet Fuel Bottle and spray to a lighter or open fire.

It looks like Methanol w/ Boric acid dissolved in it. The Barium is what is creating the color.

Although forms of copper, such as copper sulfate, can add a green color to a flame, it will not be as green as it is shown here. And adding copper shavings to such a wide area of fire might create colored streaks through the flame or probably nothing.

To make a green flame using liquids,stick to forms of barium. Even with solids, forms of copper are not used to create green...used to make blue

Magnesium does not burn green, it burns very bright white. You make this green fire by dropping a spoonfull of boric acid(roach killer) in a cup full of Methyl alcohol(HEET antifreeze). Stir it and light it up!
