After Marvel wraps up the current Noir books, they need to just stop.
The only thing i found interesting was that the Vulture ate Uncle Ben...hmmm...wait i take it back...finding out that the Vulture likes steamed rice isnt all that great now that i think about it.
anyway.
great job guys.
On a side note...PETE..tell us why you liked the book. A little more detail and i might check out a few of those. Just hearing you say awsome isnt doing it for me anymore :(
So is that alex in minesweeper the movie? Also, you guys have said some good stuff about trinity in the past. Have you noticed that it started to suck? They've taken something cool and gone nowhere with it. I can't even tell what's going on most of the time.
You guys seem to avoid politics on principle (though I don't know why). But, given the bloodbath Israel has unleashed on the people in Gaza, it's a good moment to mention Joe Sacco's fantastic "Palestine" graphic novel. It's one of the rare comics that was educational for lots of folks in a way that informed their activism in the world. Such a discussion would be way more interesting than 'the art's great' 'this sets things up' type of review.
And I agree about X-factor its not bad, but its no where close to as good as it has been. I'm hoping things will pick up when the Baby is born in the next issue.
yeah I agree those NOIR books aren't noir they put them in the 40's and are just trying to be Mark Millar-ish with super extreme everything(spoiler) the end reveal of spider-man noir is the vulture ate Ben Parker. it falls flat of the whole noir thing.
The show looks better and better each day. Do you think you could add covers and pages from the books you're referring to during the reviews? I missed the green-screen rear-projected images from the Pulp Secret days. Something to think about.
I told you guys what happened to X-factor, a big event killed it. Why would a writer put his all into a book that might be ruined by yet another big event.
I agree with Pete in regards to limited series not providing a solid ending and how it sucks. When I used to collect monthly issues that had happened to me and I hated it. I was like, "Why bother doing a limited series then?!"
I loved X-men and Spider man Noir very much. Noir is set in the Deppression era. Does it matter if Spider man noir doesn't have powers? Batman, Nightwing, and Robin don't have powers. Noir is a Sleeper hit for Marvel. Fraction's X-men suck balls. Diggle's Thunderbolts is fantastic and is better than Ellis even. Really excited for the new team ih Ant man in it.
well i am glad to hear that you read all of the comments... dont ignore this one though!
again, no matter how good the reason for that iphone to be sitting there is.... it's not good enough!!!
dont be that guy alex!!

Oh come on, Alex! Spider-man Noir was very interesting! give the title a chance, at least wait until #2 to give up the title.

anyone has been reading "Age Of Sentry"?
I recommend it you like the old school Marvel 60's storytelling

Yep, its a great title. I cant wait to see where the darker tone of the series leads to.

No one is, and for good reason. The most loathed comic book characters usually aren't the most talked about.
