.357 essentially means "magnum", as .357 is the most common magnum caliber by far. However, I wouldn't recommend storing more than one round in the BARREL. Rounds are stored in the cylinder chambers.
That's what I love about CYOAs: "You're inside the elevator. There are *two* working buttons."
