i just sent an email to ken and linda asking when they are going to be getting more mso 125s in stock and they said there probably not going to. so im now thinking of getting the pitpro 140xr off ebay if i cant get the mso. Is the pit pro 140xr a good bike or not? is it good quality? and is it good for me even though ive never ridden a bike before?
I have heard they are good bikes but have never personally got to ride one. I would definitely try to get the MSO though as i believe they are better qaulity bikes. I know someone that is buying a KX125 straight up and they havent even riden a Pee wee so i think you'll be fine
also when i get my mso 125s im thinking of taking it to black duck valley. I was just wondering if black duck is good for pit bikes and if people take there pit bikes there. Im thinking of going on the trail bike tracks, are they any good for pit bikes and if u could give me some info on anything to do with black duck that would be great.
I went out to Black Duck on my pro as you can see but there is not much footage of the Pit bike track which is great. we were on the Mountain track which is great aswell but i don't know how your suspension would handle the jumps on the mountain track as they are fairly big. Yeah there are a few guys that go out there on Pit bikes. I didn't actually do the trails so i wouldn't know anything about them. Where are you located?
I cant garantee it but if you do end up with a lemon Ken and Linda will try their best to help sort it out. On my first MSO, it had a leaking seal and they sent me a new seal and money to fit it so they really are great.
im just wondering why they are so cheap, if u were to get a jap bike they are like $5000-$10000 for a descent one and the mso is only $900. WHY IS IT SUCH A DIFFERENCE IN PRICE?
I dont actually know. Maybe its just the brand name but then again i dont really know. Maybe its the inconsistency with chinese bikes. Some can be great and last ages but then you get the lemon which fall apart on your first ride. Although i have never heard of anyone having problems with any MSO bikes
Yeah mine was around the $850-$950 mark im pretty sure. Ken and Linda are great and will help you out with your bike if it does happen to have any problems. Best customer service in my opinion
i think i might go with the mso 125s because of the price difference, its gonna cost me $800 for the bike and dilevery which i think is a good deal.Could u plz tell me what u think of this price? and also how much was your mso x6r?
yeah. you can easily touch the ground and they are really light so it wont be a struggle to keep in control. and they handle really well aswell but make sure you always wear your helmet, goggles and shoes at least.
yeah if you think that you will get into the minibike scene it would be great. It has heaps of power for racing and it has good suspension and frame for FMX. Or even if you are planning on keeping it for a while.
im exactly 180cm tall do u think ill be alright with it. OR DO u think i should get the mso pro for my 1st bike. keep in mind ive never ridden a bike before only a 50
maybe if any of your mates have a pit bike try riding it first to see if you are a bit tall. But it should be fine. The PRO is a great bike and will handle alot but it all depends on what you want to do. If you are only using pit bikes as a way to get into motorbike then maybe save your money and buy a 125S but if you are actually looking at getting into the pit bike scene then maybe spend that bit extra and get the PRO. Don't worry that you have only ridden a PW 50. mine was a heavy trail bike.
thanks for all your advice mate u have really helped me out. do u think the mso 125s will be a good 1st bike for me. (im 15 and weigh 60kg and am reasonably tall)never ridden a bike before only a pw 50 lol.
the only thing that you should be worried about is your height. I weigh over 60kg and the suspension was fine on my X6R however you don't want your knees hitting the bars or getting cramps. I am 180cm and am a little tall for it but they are still fun so as long as you are under about 180cm you should be fine. And because it is a pitbike, they aren't all that hard to ride but once you get used to it, it will still have enough power to keep you happy.
Nah i didn't have any problems with it. It cost me about $1900 or something but i cant really remember how much. I had one of the old MSO X6R's before i got this one which is equal too if not less quality than the new 125S's and i sold it too my sister and its still going strong after over 2 years. Never had any problems with it either.
Yeah i think they are great. I've sold mine now, but if I was going to get another one, it would definitely be MSO. And yeah, I did get mine from Ken and Linda :)
