ok this is an old thread, YOU ARE KILLING ME. the matrix elite series is NOT spl, its sql, it is suppose to be in a sealed box, not a ported one. I have them myself, and trust me i read the manual. it needs to be a huge box though, i do think his box is a tad small. mine is 3 cubic feet, which is about the optimal for this beast if you run it at full wattage.
lol. Exactly. You can make an hella smaller box even if it is ported. No biggie. U cud blow the coils on this sub because it is being hammred in a sealed box. The coils can't cool down enuff because there is very very little air movement.
