@abderraman0 The Garand held 8 rounds in it's internal en bloc clip(yes a clip not a magazine). If each soldier there only had 8 rounds apiece, aside from the machine gunners, the battle would have went very differently. There were a few supply drops that got in between the weather, aside from the fact that there was also a tank destroyer battalion that was encircled with part of the 101st.
