No, but now I'll be looking for it. Was it released on one of the Crystal Ball Collections? I believe he's one of the few that could really do a great bass lead. Kind of reminds me of Dub Jones of the Cadets, only maybe even better. John S. Tilt 45
@45Tilt You're very welcome John! Have you ever heard Frank Buttgereit & Four Flops - Dreamland? Frank sings lead. I had it posted 2 years ago and Frank asked me to remove it, he felt he sounds better singing base, I told him nicely he was nuts, the song is fantastic. For some reason he didn't want the song copied & released.
@45Tilt Hi 45Tilt... many many thx for your commant. I have written the song in 1998. Just like "ZIMZUM" (Wizzard of love) The recordings are all still with the old cast.Frankie B. is the "Bassman", Matze, Hanno and Olli are the backingvocals on this tune, And Patty (it´s me) are the leadsinger. This song is also my favorit ;) I am currently in the studio and record new songs. Until then a lot of fun with the old songs...
@FABFLOP1 Hello Patrick, Thanks also for your reply. Zim Zum has been a favorite of mine, as well as my wife, for years. I've just purchased Why on the Crystal Ball album, and will be looking forward to your future recordings. I hope the FabFlops may be performing in the US sometime. All the best! John S (Tilt 45)
Cool Bobby B just played this on SiriusXM's Doo-Wop Stop tonight 7/3/11 - it is absolutely beautiful!! It's so good, in fact, I thought it might have been Kenny Vance! This is delightful. Thank you for posting!
@retweld7018 Hi there! Just now read your comment about the lyrics, I'd love to have them if still possible? Sorry I took so long, I receive so many comments it's hard to stay on top of them all.
Been there, trust me! When I 1st heard this, I killed a 6 pack just sitting back listening to the harmonies. The base is Frank Buttgereit, AHH. Do you know if the Four Flops are still together?
The Four Flops are still together - I saw them perform in November. In 2008 they released a new cd. Frankie B, the bass here, is no longer with the Flops. He is the bass for the Crystalairs.

Sorry, also forgot to mention that they changed their name to the Fabulous Flops (when they added a fifth member) a number of years ago.
