It's funny how everybody is calling Katy "desperate". I JUST read this one article saying that Katy HOPES that "The One That Got Away" DOES NOT become a #1 single bc she doesn't want Teenage Dream to beat MJ's Bad album. BTW, Katy DID NOT decide to make the remix, it was ALL Capitol. Capitol record wants to beat MJ's record, NOT Katy.

Maybe in "another life" I won't blow it like I did this time around. Amazing song, and incredibly sad. I cried the first time I heard it. And maybe even the second and third time. Some songs just hit home, and this one covered my relationship with my ex from top to bottom.
