Ive wachted this video so many times. I am truly envious. Im building a 2.0 SPI turbo myself. Just ordered my MS2 ECU got garret gt27 turbo for it 24" intercooler HKS SSQ BOV, AEM Trueboost controller, the block is bored and sleeved .050 over for 8:1 comp, SRT Pistons, upgraded cams, lifters and double springs for the head, 17lb injectors, MSD ignition, Full exhaust and weapon R intake. I'd say im ready to go.

@sully199 yeah....sitting at my friends house. The motor has long since been sold and it now has the RWD drivetrain in. One of these days I'll bring it to the shop to have the 2.3 svo motor installed. The car is just not on my top things to do in recent days but I'll get to it.

Very nice, gotta love a cheap custom turbo set up. Great work and great car, I have a stock escort gt, its my beater but its in great shape. I am looking at turboing my 04 gmc envoy. Its a very expensive set up though.

how did this car keep up with a corvette but only ran a 14.3 quarter mile, vette does it much faster than that? Just asking, no shit talking here.

@osu33089 that's what happens when you go to the track with FWD and street tires. The car was a 12sec car but he never went to the track once he put the drag radials on....the best he ran on street tires was 13.7 @ 10psi. Racing the vette the car was on 23psi @ 339whp. We could have raised the boost to beat the vette but why hurt the motor....in was a bone stock JDM N/A motor....$300

hey man, awesome vid. Whats the best 1/4mile time u've done in your car? The one time i noticed on there was a 14sec pass? Cos according to one of ur posts on one of my vids, ur car made 339whp? Just wondering cos ive heard that ur dyno readings over there read a little higher to our ones in aus. My quickest 1/4 mile is 12.47 with my dyno tune making much the same is urs, but u got basivc mods. if ur dyno read was the same as over here u should easy do 12's

13.6 @106 on 10psi. Everytime we've gone to the track were always on the same streettires we use on the street. Never went to the track to get a true quarter mile time. Most of the time we went straight to the street races after the track. Track numbers are cool but as my videos show we raced proven fast cars that run 12s at the track and came out on top. Our tune is adjusting the MAF to run rich. AUS...Ford Laser?AWD?FWD?
