I've just been watching clips of the show, but I think combining Daniel's vocal technique and Ben's dancing/acting skills would have made a great Joseph.

Ben's vocal performances were inconsistant throughout the competition. He had great stage presence and was an excellent dancer, but a musical theatre actor also needs to be able to sing well. Hopefully, Ben will get the vocal training he needs so that he can further his career in musical theatre!

my friend was in the audience that night!! Luckyness... anyway, she said John Barrowman ran onto the stage and apploaded Ben at the end, and gave him a hug when he came down the steps. Also, apparently after the end of the 1st show Bens dad had a word with Zoe about her comments and they both ended up in a heated discussion, and John had to break it up. Zoe then refused to talk to Ben and just walked back to her seat.

I really want Lewis to win, even though I know that Lee is the best. Lees looks like a Joseph, sings, and has a stage presence that surpassed all the others except Ben, who's now left. But Lewis just strikes me as almost different, and that's what I think that Andrew Lloyd Webber should be looking for.

I would just like to say that Ben was only a bit out of tune in this song, but he wasn't in the other songs he sung that day like the one with keith which was great! He has a stronger voice than Lewis and he can dance a lot better. Also we havent heard lewis singing this so how can you tell if he is better?

It's hard not to be cynical about this show. Even though ALW saved Ben three times you can't help think that he never really wanted him to win. Rather, they recognised his star quality and to keep the viewing figures up they would keep him in while they had complete control. Lewis stands no chance in the final and it will be between Lee and Keith. However, given the right songs Ben could have stolen it!!!

Strangely, when I first saw Lewis I thought "that's JOSEPH!" not specifically just because of his hair, or his smile or anything - just because he seemed to encompass what I imagined Joseph to look like. On Daniel's exit interview he agreed, saying Lewis "looks like a Joseph". I think a blonde Joseph is a cool idea, because I imagine Joseph to almost be plastic, or barbie-like - he's so annoyingly perfect.

In my considered (and humble)opinion he was the best. The best stage presence, good looks, excellent voice (and his occasional slips made him more exciting). Certainly more exciting than Lee, while Keith has a good voice, he doesn't inhabit the songs as well as Ben. Great shame that he went.

Did you see the way Ben acted like he didn' care he was going out (although his eyes kept watering), it's as if he planned that he was gonna go beforehand because he knows he can't win this competition. The more he's hiding his feelings with arrogance, the more I think he's upset about all this and how the judges still insist that he can't sing. Hope we'll see more of Ben in the future.
