  • i was 15 years old in my freshman yr. of high school,,,damn those were the days ,,fucking Maiden..

  • I fucking LOVE the GALLOP of the guitars in Maiden. so great.

  • The song is very, very, very goood but acting is sucks.

  • Maiden.... what more needs to be said

  • look at those pants!

  • 0:52 BASS MISTAKE

  • what a stage performance!

they even got eddie up there dancing with them that's so awesome

    haha and Steves pants <3

  • @dirtyrottenimb steve is my favorite bass player of all time. he mabye not a crazy as say les claypool but he writes almost all maidens songs and drives their whole sound. it takes a real man to wear those pants infront of thousands of people

  • Up the Irons!!

  • MASTERIECE!!!!!!! Amazing!!!!

    UP THE IRONS!!!!!!

  • i have to admit they are an amazing live band

  • Iron Maiden, all members are great musicians...when jannick gers came into the picture I was skeptical at first, but jannick fuckin rocks too!!!...their songs generally contain more notes, rather then cords. GREAT live band, they can replicate what you hear on the CD live on stage...a testimony to their musicianship

  • Maiden puts on one of the bests shows beside Pink Floyd Maidens stories bring you within them

  • Agreed. (:

  • fuck you?

  • punk...you were just borned!...lol

  • Definitely like this better live.

I also like to see Adrian on a Gibson LP Goldtop for a change ... I have the same model and I love it!

  • I know. (: I like their songs better live imo. That's the sign of a great band; when their music is better live. (:

  • The whole band comes together and produces a very unique writing style, but Steve Harris's bass picking is very prominent to their sound. Seems like I can always hear him beating the Hell out of it. HES SUCH A GREAT BASS PLAYER!

  • he also writes almost all of their songs

  • part of his sound comes from a combination of using flatwound strings and a Badass 2 bridge. i love how the lows are nice and full and the mids and highs cut through everything else! and believe it or not he only uses 2 fingers! i use 3 and i have a little trouble with the faster stuff

  • i heard that steve used to play with marshall set ups

  • Here's an odd thought to dwell on: have you ever thought it might be creepy to the band members that someone who's never met them before can know almost everything about his past life just because they're famous? I'd be creeped out if some 'fan' I'd never seen in my life knew everything about my childhood and my personal life. That's the REAL problem with Internet, it's a gateway

for stalkers to learn things they shouldn't know.

  • This is the first time I get to see'em live. Man they rock and I can here the influence they had on other rock groups after them.

  • best guitar solo

  • it does, whenever i listen to the album i realize that and you can still hear that its him at some points, but not see.

  • AWESOME! But I think Dickinson's version's better.

  • wtf are u talking about? it is Dickinson--its Rock in Rio DVD footage.

  • sorry, its not rock in rio-i was just listening to Rush in Rio so i got confused-its Live After Death

  • Ok. But what I meant is that it is very different from the studio version - at least the vocals is - so it sounded like another person was singing. (and you cant exactly see whos singing behind that mask).

  • If you can only tell bruce's voice when looking at him. You're not a real fan.

  • Thank you very much for that - I just spent £27.5 on membership in the Iron Maiden Fan Club.

And I just want to inform you that when I wrote that comment, I was pretty new to Iron Maiden.

  • Everyone who has the cd AND the DVD of this concert knows that heehehehe...

    is the best concert EVER!

  • yeah this was 1985, i own live after death lol

  • actually the date the dvd was recorded was 14 and 18 of march 1985 so whoever gave Vinivinter the thumbs down is a nob

  • dude. wat up wit bruce dickinson's mask????

  • Indeed it is strange but hell, he's bruce Dickinson! He could where a pink skirt on stage and everyone would still scream their heads off.

  • He wore it because he thought it resembled an Eagle, or bird actually. It goes along with the theme of the tour/song. He got it an S&M shop in California. lol

  • That was probably the funniest thing ever to hear Bruce tell that story on the LAD dvd LOL

  • i fukin love diz song and i luve iron maiden and i am goin 2 there concert diz month i luve u iron maiden up the irons!!!!!!

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!

  • nice:D

  • This video is actually from 85.

  • how do u no????

  • I just saw on the insert of the live album. There you can find all dates of the shows from the tour "Live After Death".

This live concert was recorded in Los Angeles, on the Long Beach Arena, between March 14th and March 17th from 1985.

    =D
