this was the last game for one of the best guards of Europe the last 10 years and the best defender also. Dimitris Diamantidis retired after this turnament. This is more important than the defeat from spain(which is a good team but we will beat them one day, i hope).Now greece has 5 players retired and 2 injured, the hopes arent high for this year but the positive is there are many young players with potential. The young greek nt won 1 gold & 1 silver in euro U21 and 1 silver in world champ U21

But even spanish press and tv news were critizising the referees because we don't like to win in an unfair way. Even though everybody thinks about it, it is so sad what happened in athens and it deserved bigger punishment, for greeks and serbs. Bouroussis lied as well saying that in spain we dont respect anyone and that we think we are going to win easily.
