Randy Wood got the brilliant idea of reviving the Andrews Sisters' recording career on Dot Records with new recordings of their Decca classics with the original arrangements, rerecording with new arrangements, and music they had never recorded before in contemporary arrangements. He did a lot of business with the resulting L.P.s. There was a whole audience out there for Patty, Maxene and Laverne and Wood was smart enough to know that.
