This dude just fuckin quit, he looked to his corner shook his head no and took a dive. Tito had punching power but that wasn't a kidney shot, it wasn't even landed in a place that would cause much damage. He flopped.

he gave up, thats what happened. good shot but he could have got up imo, before he got hit he decided he did not want to fight and stood down for the count. not a dive just a beaten man. Eirk Morrales did it (vs pac), Alexis Arguello did it (vs pryor) just to name a few. niether threw thier respective fights but they decided they had enough

his eyes were dilating, that's not a dive brother. A lot of pressure. Freddy was a good fighter. I remember him from USA channel's Tuesday Night Fights.

@chifuli1974 I think there's a difference between taking a dive and knowing you can't win. I don't think Pendleton CAME IN to the fight knowing he was going to quit.
When he looked to his corner @ 3:46 it seems to me like he's letting them know that he can't keep going. That Trinidad was too much for him. Plus, that was a hard body shot. He knew he couldn't win, saw a way out, and took it.

@chifuli1974 Dude did you hear the impact of that body shot ? Freddie used to be a very good fighter, no quit in him. Earlier in the fight he got hit low and didn`t say shit. Tito had big power, get hit by one of those shots and let me know if you took a dive
