I don't understand what someone's religious beliefs have to do with who they should vote for. If someone says they pray about decisions, does that mean their decisions are inherently misguided or that atheists should disagree with them? Is that the logic behind this video or do I misunderstand?

I was referring to the Christian God. One of the many, resources that points out that the Christian God is the only God is the fact that, any ancient historian will tell you that the life of Jesus did in fact happen. Dawkins even admitted to that in a debate.

@GoddessofGrey In the old testament (Deuteronomy and Leviticus etc.) God laid down the law I.e. stoning unruly children, witches, and homosexuals, as well as many other disgusting "moral" laws. In the new testament Jesus himself says not one dot or tittle of the law shall pass away, he did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill the law. christ did not discontinue or improve upon the law.

Ie people say everything had to come from something and therefor God makes sense. This however makes no sense as it assumes that God could then "come from nothing" therefor defying the rule that everything needs come from something and thus defeating the need for a God.
Theists then turn and say "God has always been" and in the same breath(cont)

If the law can be defied then the requirement for "everything" no longer makes the law pertinent and thus removes the need for the answer of "God did it".
The simple answer is we don't know what happened pre-big bang. God is not a rational answer with the evidence we currently have, it's an excuse to stop looking.

I was referring to the Christian God. One of the many, resources that points out that the Christian God is the only God is the fact that, any ancient historian will tell you that the life of Jesus did in fact happen. Dawkins even admitted to that in a debate.
