MMM, what a gorgeous sound!!! Rodney puts such soul into this song.

I first heard and then learnt this in the spring of 2011, as part of John Rutter's 'Feel the Spirit' which I sang with my SATB choir and 2 other choirs. We had a superb mezzo-soprano as our soloist. The song gives me goosebumps every time I hear or sing it!

The man in the picture is, of course, Rodney Clarke. I love Rodney! Rodney features in the moving new Vid. of 'Pie Jesu' by New Classical band 'Spirit Of The Age'. In this he sings with Tanja Tsarovska [Troy movie sound-track vocalist with Josh Groban] and the effect is just magical. Rodney positively smoulders! He's so soo BEAUTIFUL!

This is one of the most beautiful renditions of this song that I've heard. I glad to hear a baritone with such a rich, powerful voice. In my opinion, I think that baritones are the most versatile of the male voices. Rodney, simply amazing. Thanks for representing us baritones.
